Kosciusko (pronounced kozzy-os-ko but affectionatly known as "Kossy") is an Australian outback RPG based on the Silver Brumby by Elyne Mitchell. Primarily a brumby (feral horse) RPG you can also play any other Australian wildlife! You're also allowed a limited number of men with their domestic animals.
We're based on the idea of the Silver Brumby series but we provide all the information you need to play. We do not support canon characters here, we're set after their stories, but their legends live on and they are often mentioned.
New members, check out the rules before joining a character. We'll see you in the outback!
29/10/09 -- Hah! Spot the difference ^_^ Hope you like the new skin guys, let me know if you spot any bugs =)
22/06/09 -- Again, the rules got a bit of an update. This time it's the way fights work. No if a stallion has less than half of the points of the stallion they are challange, they will definitely lose. I've also updated the board descriptions a little as well as adding a few new boards, so speak up if you notice a typo! 04/02/09 -- Updated the rules a smidgen. Nothing major, just tidying them up and adding a few clarifications. Please re-read when you have a spare moment =) 24/01/09 -- Had a bit of an affiliates cleanout. If I've deleted your banner by accident and it has been active this year, then feel free to repost the request =) 23/01/09 -- I've tidied up a few of the administration boards! The "Order of the Outback" board has been updated and mixed around so you're welcome to have a look at that. I also reorganised the Character Creation boards, but I realised a little too late that any links to brumby or critter profiles will now be broken -- oops! You'll have to relink any of those, sorry for the inconvenience! 20/01/09 -- A bit of a few slow-news months!! Anyhow, hoping you're all liking the the new skin! I've added a bit of a feature as you can see to the right. Thats what the gang-gangs are gossiping about. If anything happened in the game that would become common knowledge, PM me (Tiggs) and I'll plonk it up there. 02/06/08 -- I've added a little to the rules under "Activity". I'm sure I had it written down before but apparently not! I've also cleaned out a few accounts and moved the inactive characters to the archive. 02/05/08 -- Tingara has taken the position of the King after the last ruler's disappearence! 10/03/08 -- Aleo is now King of the High Country! Congratulations! 03/03/08 -- Updated the rules on Breeding a little. Please vote in the poll in the OOC section =) 06/02/08 -- Kosciusko is BACK! I've reset all the boards and moved any profiles that were made previous to 2008 to an archieve. If you're a returning member, just copy the forms you've made and re-post them for acceptance.

http://cache.virtualtourist.com/15192-Whitehorse-Whitehorse.jpg Name: Loorea Species:Brumby Gender: female Age:4 Appearance: Loorea is a beautiful young camarillo mare. Her coat is a stunningly bright shade of white that makes her almost irresistible to any passing stallion who sees her. Her mane and tail are a creamy white, and her eyes are a light blue that sparkle with intelligence and friendliness. (Her muzzle is pink, again, unlike the image.) She is rather tall, slim and sinewy, with not a smidgen of fat on her. Personality: Loorea is a cheerful, easy-going, friendly mare, who will stop to help any manner of creature in need, unless it is man. She hates man, and for a good reason, too. She is stubborn, fierce, and can be quite dangerous when she needs to be. History:Loorea was born to two Camarillo White Horses, who were nearly the only ones of their kind in England at the time. Her parents were bought from a breeder by some stockmen. They wanted to breed another Camarillo White Horse, and win prizes with it at shows, and then maye sell it for lots of money. So they came to Australia with their two prize-winning horses, and after about a month, Loorea was born. She longed to be wild; she envied her parents for the rides that the men took them on in the bush. After a while they confessed to her that they wanted to be free, too. So one night, the three of them jumped the fence of their paddock and escaped. (They did not have any hobbles because they were supposed to be tame). Loorea spent much of her time exploring the bush with her parents, and when she was one year old, in late autumn, she went off to make something of her life. After a week of independence, she was captured by the same people who brought her parents to Australia! After five days, a dingo came to her and talked to her. His name was Daku, meaning sand, and he hated man too, because they had killed his father and tow of his siblings when he was just a pup. He was three years old. He talked about an escape plan to her. At night, and when they didn’t need her, they put iron hobbles on her. But between them, the filly and the dingo came up with a cunning plan. On the seventh night of her capture, when they came to hobble her, Daku, who was hiding in a corner of the paddock, leapt at the man with the hobbles in his hand, and growled and barked ferociously. The man backed off, and ran into the house to get his shotgun. By the time he returned, both dingo and filly were gone. Ever since, Loorea has wandered the land with Daku, looking for adventure. Genes: ee/Aa/CRCR//Ww Extra Comments:I’m going to do a bio for Daku-soon.

If you mean "cremello", rather than "camarillo", then the pic you have there don't match That's a grey, cremello's have pink noses. If you want a pic for reference, google "cremello" - that should give you a more accurate reference to how you've described her. Also, The "Species" field is just for what sort of animal they are, not what colour - you should put that in the Appearance
I'd find it hard to believe her parents were the only cremellos in Britain You can probably say they were fairly rare though! The rest of the history is fine.
And the last thing I swear - horses can't get green eyes. The only thing that comes close is a champagne's eyes at birth, but they darken to hazel over time. A cremello's eyes are almost always blue

Ok, I'll change all that... But I do mean "Camarillo White Horse" I think it's actually a breed. Oh, btw, here's the ling to the page where I got it from. Have a look? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camarillo_White_Horse

Oh I see! Sorry about that, ignore what I said up there then! With the exception of eye colour - White horses have either brown, blue or hazel eyes
So what i can gather from that. Camarillo is a breed? Thats cool - her genes would be ANY base colour, (check that link I gave you to the genetics page and pick any colour you like) and then add /Ww to the end. No matter what base colour she is, she would appear that startling white with pink nose
The strange thing with White horses is that if they breed with another White horse, there's a 50% chance they'll have a stillborn foal. if they have the genes /WW, that called "lethal white"! it can happen in some paint horses too. Bizarre, huh?

Yeah, that's what I thought, too. But there's also a- I think it's 25% chance- that the foal won't look anthing like it's parents. REALLY WEIRD! And now, I modify. Sorry it's taking me so long. . . I'm a little slow sometimes .
