It was raining. Not hard, but enough to notice it. More than a mist, less than a downpour. As the drops fell softly a lithe filly pranced and played, dancing in and out of the puddles that already lay on the ground. She lifted her legs high, touching the water for the slightest time possible, as though it scalded her neat hooves. Spinning around she called to the buckskin stallion who was her companion, inviting him to join in on her game, her rain dance.
Together the two of them embodied the light of the day and the mystery of dusk and Warrah was happy for Warrigal's company as they travelled. Light-hearted as always, the filly had been quick to start up a game as the rain began to fall.

Warrigal joined Warrah, kicking up his hooves as he leaped over puddles and twirled around in the midst of the pleasant drizzle. Playfully he leapt at her, missing his companian by an inch, and plunging his hoves into a nearby puddle before leaping up, neighing happily.

Warrah tossed her head in mock distress as the stallion lept at her, knowing all the while that he would never hurt her. To be honest, even if she had only just met the stallion she would have had too much faith in decency to believe that he meant her any harm. She was just that kind of filly. Completely innocent, completely naiive.
Whinnying happily, she twirled and pranced in the soft light of the rain storm.

Warrigal nickered happily as he leapt about, whirling around, jumping up to try and catch a rain drop on his tounge. The rail was cool and soothing on his skin, for it was summer, and summer in Australia is extremely hot and dry.

OOC: Hope you don't mind if I jump in with Adoni?? He's only young, so won't pose any threat, but if you want me out, just tell me!
Drousy, the young golden coloured colt lifted his head from the pillow of damp grass. The soft grey clouds loomed over head, bright but also dark in a way he could not describe. Blinking from the glare the clouds caused, Adoni sighed and let his head fall limp onto the grass once again. He didn't close his pale hazel eyes; instead he looked up through the cover of leaves. Watching them as the rain created small puddles, and when they got too heavy he watched them fall and dribble the rain along the ground.
Smiling, he rolled onto his back, letting his long gangly golden legs kick out for a minute or so before he fell over to his left side and heaved himself to his feet. He shook the leaves and grass off of his now dirty back and wandered away from the shelter of the leaves. The rain was only light, spitting. Though it was enough for Adoni to give a playful squeal and go charging down the flat at full speed. His ears were forward as he charged down the snow grass, and he gave a playful buck. He skidded to a messy halt and crained his head to listen to the chorus of birds. As he did, he was not met by the beautiful sound of birds, but of playful neighs. Curious, Adoni moved in the direction of the sound.
He followed a faint trail and kept to the pale snow gums. Following the sounds he heard. It didn't take him long to find two horses, a mare and a stallion, playing in the puddles. They also looked like they were having fun. Excitement bubbled through him and without thinking he gave a loud whinny and cantered into the clearing, throwing his head and kicking his heels up. He once again skidded to a muddy halt. His eyes gleaming with excitement.

OOC: mind? not at all BIC: Warrah was having way too much fun to pay much attention to what was happening around her. Even when she wasn't playing the filly wasn't especially attentive to potential danger, though she was unusually perceptive to other's feelings. As it was, it was only the strange golden colt's whinny that alerted her to his prescense. Spinning about gracefully at the sound, she stood facing the colt, watching him curiously. Then, nostrils quivering in a silent nicker of welcome, she reached out with her soft muzzle to touch his. Glancing behind her at Warrigal, she flicked her ears at the buckskin, urging him to come forward at greet the newcomer. As usual she had no inkling of concern that the two males make take objection to each other. The sweet filly didn't see why they couldn't all just be friends and enjoy the lovely rain. Moving aside so that Warrigal could greet her new friend, Warrah felt energy surge up through her legs so that standing still suddenly became impossible. Leaping away from the other two she spun and twirled with increasing speed, looking almost like a blur in her activity. The sun began to peek out from behind the clouds, illuminating the rain so that it became soft golden drops of light instead of its former pale grey. Warrah played with increasing joy in the sun shower, the weak light highlighting those queer pale streaks along her sides.

Warrigal felt to happy to be aggressive towards the newcomer. The day was too beautiful, and besides, he didn't want Warrah to witness a fight. He trotted towards the other colt, neighing a greeting. "Hello, what's your name, and where are you from?"

Adoni reached out his nose to touch it with the filly that came over. He nickered softly, then seemed to remember the manners that bay mare had taught him. "I'm Adoni." He threw his head up into the air when she darted away, his muscles tensed as he was ready to chase after her. But as he was about to leap after her, the stallion came over to him. Wary, Adoni watched and waited for any signs of aggression, but there was none. Smiling he repeated what he had told the filly before, "I'm Adoni, and obviously I come from the High Country." He shook his head, and was about to dart after the mare, but suddenly realised that it may be a bad idea. Especially if the stallion took it for him trying to lure her with him, which was something he wouldn't do because, one, he was waayy to young and still thought of the fillies have 'kooties' and two, it was not in his nature to do something as horrible.
Instead he leapt into a nearby puddle, letting the water splash up. He then squealed, bolting up the flat, he chased the filly playfully, he pivoted and called for the stallion to join in.

Warrigal crouched slightly as he watched the other stallion look as if he was going to dart after Warrah. A warning neigh burst out of the buckskin, warning Adoni not to take one step towards her. He would kill any other stallion who wanted to steal or hurt her.
Shaking himself, he whinnied playfully and darted after the other stallion, splashing through the puddles, spraying water everywhere. As long as this stallion did not desire Warrigal's filly, he would be friends with Adoni.

Hearing Adoni's greeting, Warrah called back to the interestingly coloured colt. "Greetings Adoni, I am Warrah, named for the honeysuckle." She was glad to see Warrigal go over and introduce himself and nickered to the two of them.
As the champagne colt suddenly whirled about to chase after her she squealed and sprang away, flying through the rain that had suddenly become a misty haze, her hindlegs nearly outreaching her front end in her sudden burst of uncontrollable energy. After bolting about half the length of the clearing the filly slowed to an impatient canter, circling the stallions and tossing her head, front end practically prancing in her eagnerness to play.
