OOC: haha, whoops sorry guys, for some reason I wrote Imbrium all over my last post...I meant Boorrang, cough. lol. sorry for the confusion ^_^
BIC:
Boorrang nodded to the grey mare, but didn't even notice the grulla's show of arrogance. Standing somewhat awkwardly, (Boorrang had never been good a socialising with other mares-she was too much of a flirt for other females to like her), the grey and white pinto finally bowed her head to take another drink. Eventually, the pinto realised that her foal had left her side and she turned her dripping muzzle to see Imber introducing herself to the dark colt. Talking to the boys already...maybe Imber would be more of her mother's daughter than Boorrang had initially thought. In anycase, the idea amused the pinto. Still, it wasn't enough to keep her focus for long. Distractedly, she swung her head back around, looking for something to capture her attention, one ear still trained on the white mare beside her, the other flickering impatiently between Imber and the rest of her surroundings. Absent-mindedly she took note of the approach of the queer wallaby but still did not feel the need for concern. Wallabies were gentle creatures after all, and her daughter was stupid. If she needed Boorrang all she need do was run over.....Her roving gaze moved far behind the little shore by the lake, into the brush, seeking something, someone, to capture her interest.
------------------------
The smoky black foal watched with wide eyes as the creature hopped closer, curious gaze unblinking and unconciously bobbing her head with every jump the wallaby made. The little filly did not move from her braced position, tail still flagged comically. Still, Imber took strength from being beside Tokai, though they did not know each other she was oddly comforted by his prescense.
The wallaby continued to advance and Imber's light coloured eyes nearly went cross-eyed as, instead of stopping a few feet away as a brumby would have done, the wallaby came within a few inches of her muzzle. She ducked her head in surprise at the wallaby's soft pat, but soon realising that the creature had meant no harm by it, shyly extended her nose to gently nuzzle at the white animal's paws. At the other's words she spoke up shyly "I am Imber, for the shadows," she said.
