"I am not so young. I just want to follow someone. I can't follow myself, I tried, its difficult." She said absently, scratching again at the mud caked on her legs. She smiled as she saw the spots of her coat becoming clearer. "More spots." She mumbled, rubbing more mud from her legs and creating dusty streaks across her face. "Stallions like mares." She offered as an explanation. "Clean mares, muddy mares, all the same." She didn't seem phased by that fact, she even smiled. In her experience, a stallion would gather all the mares he could, regardless of colour or condition. Only the unhealthy mares were rejected. As long as they could breed, they were useful assets.

"If one is following oneself, you are just chasing your tail." Kaipo will continue to clean Crayloa yet to do nothing for the drying mud on herself.
"A filly who is not fussy and a stallion who is just as fussy, what a couple you two make. So tell me Tingara, where is your herd? How many have taken you up on your offer?" She'll reach out a nose and brush off a large chunk of mud on Tingara's own flank.

"Two other mares so far," he replied, the scratching from Kaipo was so relaxing. He thanked her by returning the favor. "I like a small herd," Tingara said absentmindedly, "it makes it easier to get to know the mares better." He thought some more and began to groom Crayola again. "Do you live here Kaipo?" Tingara asked curiously, why would the mare live her and not with a stallion? She was certainly a beautiful horse to have around, why would no one claim her?

Finding herself with two horses, one of which a stallion who would let her follow him, Crayola sighed happily and rested her chin on Tingara's withers while he groomed her flank. She snuffled at his mane, lipping at the course black strands. She smiled at Kaipo in that distant way she had, a soft smile but one that stated she wasn't entirely paying attention.
The two talked, and Cray was happy to just rest her head over the crest of Tingara's neck. Her ears flickered as she listened to the occasional word, completely content just to exist now she had someone to follow.

"A small herd and an odd little policy but a good reason behind it so I will not knock your ways any longer." Kaipo groomed at Tingara momentarily but then just shook herself, sending dust and mud flying. It showing just how much she is truely covered in it.
"My own stallion fell to one who was a lot more fussy than yourself. I did not appeal to his sense of cleanliness, truely it does not bother me."

"That stallion was obviously blind!" Tingara snorted irritably, sneezing as the dust from all three of the horses' coats reached his nose. "I don't mind your cleanliness," he added quietly. No matter what anyone else said, least of all a shallow stallion, he thought Kaipo was very pretty. He nipped both mares playfully and launched himself back into a shallow patch of mud. "Come to think of it, I don't care about my cleanliness that much!" he laughed, kicking up mud and gunk with an inviting look on his face. Even though he was 4 he still loved to play!

Kaipo whinnied in laughter at the strange young stallion, before prancing up the mud and jumping in, puffs of dust and mud hitting sky.
"You are a strange but cute one. I think I shall follow you for a bit, you might prove to my liking."
