Valatone turned around to Aleo(nice name btw). She listened to the stallion, but left her loyalty with Tingara. She left it to Tingara to speak and nibbled at some of the grass, moist with water from the latest rains.

"We are enjoying the summer sunshine here in the great Yarraman's Valley!" Tingara answered Aleo's question in a friendly tone. Tingara looked up to Aleo and wondered what was going through the other stallion's mind. At the back of Tingara's mind was the thought of men but none had been sighted for ages so he was more foccused on Aleo, the strange stallion, and even more on Valatone.

Tingara seemed friendly enough, but Aleo had learned to not trust other colts from his youngster days. His ears flickered back and forth as he wondered what to make of the fine looking black stallion. The pale white mare next to him looked at Aleo; he had run alone for a while now, but decided he wouldn't mind having mares if they looked like her.
"Friend," Aleo began, lowering his head meaningfully, talking to Tingara "won't it be difficult to hide such lovely fillies from other stallions?" He wondered if Tingara had considered this. "For both their colour is soft like snow, and we are here in the broad daylight."

Valatone listened carefully to Aleo's question. He was right, and she'd never really thought about it. Where would they run? To hide her and Kunama, they'd need snow every day! She thought about how Tingara would have to put up with fights, and she hoped he was strong enough to brave it all.

"Hmm... That is a good question." Tingara replied thoughfully. Unknown to the other stallion, Tingara already had a plan. He knew of a secret valley type thing near the Ramshed Range. Tingara noticed Valatone next to him looked worried. "Do not worry my beautiful mare," he whispered, "I already know where to hide you and Kunama." Tingara began to feel edgy with the other stallion there so he decided it was time to part ways for now, "My friend I think it is time I found a hiding spot for my two mares, thank you for warning me of the dangers of having silver horses in my herd."

"Hmm, very well!" Aleo said, with a toss of his mane, "I do not mean to alarm you." Though initially, all he wanted to do was annoy the young stallion, he found him to be more pleasant than the other idiotic young colts who ran around his herd. "Say, if you ever run into any trouble, I shall aid you should you need it. For now, I will travel elsewhere and see if there are any mares with their wits about them." He wondered if such fillies existed.

Valatone opened her mouth to speak, but heard Aleo's reply. Instantly she shot up from her position, nearling on thegrass, and snorted. "Any, any..ANY MARES with wits about them?!" she said, furiously.
"Do you mean to insult us?!" she asked, baring her teeth. It was no use fighting a stallion, mares never fought unless they had to. This was not the case, but Valatone really was enraged. She kept herself behind Tingara, just in case.

"It's ok Valatone," Tingara said softly. Tingara beamed his brown eyes at her, he had a fiery thing on his hands (OOC: hooves!? lol). He looked back at Aleo, his new friend. "I'm glad for your support. Whenever you need help do not hesitate to find me up near the Ramshed, friend." Tingara smiled, reared and called a call of friendship. He went up to Aleo and offered his nose to say goodbye. Then he looked at Valatone and Kunama. What had started as a joyful run through the valley had gotten him two beautiful mares and a new friend.

(OOC: oooh Im a troublemaker! =D )
Aleo was interested in the fiery mare's outburst at him. He liked a rebellious filly, so he began to talk to her directly. "Lovely mare, Valatone," he said, "such a magnificent creature as yourself surely shouldn't be out in daylight. This is all I meant. " He turned and looked at Tingara. "Luckily for you, you now have Tingara to watch out for you." He added, snorting at her, "he will probably have many battles." If he hadn't just made friends with Tingara, he probably would have challenged him there and then because of Valatone's attitude.
He glanced around, noticing the growing sunshine and realising it was becoming later in the day. He had to be off on his way soon. "Tingara, I will see you around. If you ever need me, I will be here in Yarraman's Valley!" He gave the black stallion a playful nip and cantered back across the hill.

Valatone still wasn't impressed, but she was a little embarrased. She watched Aleo as he left, across the hill, and turned back to Tingara. "I'm sorry about that," she murmered, "my temper gets the better of me,"
