Adoni chuckled as she did, his muscles relaxing as the atmosphere surrounding them both seemed to cool down and relax. Adoni lazily swished his tail up against his flank and slowly moved around Mayrah. He shook his head, flipping parts of his mane over to the opposite side of where it was sitting. He extended his muzzle down and pulled a chunk of grass out of the ground. Chewing, he flicked his ears back over to where Mayrah was standing. "I like it here." He said, shrugging his shoulders. "Its cool...the forest doesn't really do me any justice...I cannot hide to well in it." He laughed and shook his head, "I guess its just..it feels mysterious...I guess." He frowned, then chucked Mayrah a lop sided grin.
He sighed, his pale brown eyes scanned lazily over her pretty features. She was definately a good looking filly, he had to admit that. He snorted softly, and glanced away. Her company was nice...it was a nice change to his normal..usual solitary. Perhaps he was getting ready to start his own herd..unconsiously. He walked over to her then, and smiled softly. "So...what brings you here?" He asked, his eyes lightened with curiousity and admiration for the pretty rose grey filly.

Adoni was relaxing company. There was no anxiousness in him at all, and he was a calming influence on the filly. Her head lowered to show her comfort, and she snatched up a few mouthfuls of stream-fed grass. He wasn’t bad to look at either with his golden coat and strange pale muzzle. She used the excuse of polite conversation to look at him, and she was surprised when he seemed to be doing the same.
“I like to explore.” She replied. “I have no stallion, and my father died this spring. My mother is busy with my brother, so really travelling is all I have to do.” She said with a hint of sadness to the smile she offered him. “I’m surprised if you could hide anywhere,” she added to change the topic, “with a coat so distinctive.” She tossed her head, her longer mane did not settle neatly like his. “In a few years, winter will be my element, just like my father.” Until then, her dappled black and rose coat did not quite fit in anywhere.
She huffed. Well that had been a successful turn of conversation. She’d ran a full circle back to her father. “It is nice here. The trees keep the sun away.” But it was meek. The filly obviously missed her family, and loneliness was not befitting to the social creature.

"Oh...I'm sorry about your father.." He murmured, but his mind was distracted by something else she had said...something before her father. He flicked his ears, and laughed at her comment on his coat. "Yea, its rather troublesome." He admitted, amusement lighting his eyes, strangley, this didn't bother him like it should. He, personally, liked the way he looked and was definately not troubled by the fact that any horse would be able to pin point him from miles away.
"So, you will change colour?" He asked then, a little confused. He knew his own colour would not change dramatically, it might darken a bit, but nothing too major. He had noticed that she had mentioned her father again, and was curious to find out who this horse was, but held back his questions, he did not want to make her feel uncomfortable around him again. She changed the subject again, talking about the trees. Lifting his head up, he stared out past the tops of the trees and found that she was right - the trees did keep the sun away. "Yea..." He said, a little distracted once more.
It was then that he remembered what she had said that had caught his attention a few minutes ago, "You are alone?" He asked, it seemed out of the blue, he frowned then added, "I mean..." He shrugged, hoping that she got what he meant. He looked away from her, knowing that he probably was confusing her. Suddenly his eyes lightened as an idea popped into his head, "Why don't you run with me?" He asked eagerly, "I mean...that way you won't be alone when you explore." Adoni grinned, feeling proud of his pratical thinking. Also, he was enjoying her company and he knew that they would get along well.

Mayrah gave the slightest of smiles, nipping him playfully. “Yes, if I am my father’s daughter, I will eventually be as white as the driven snow! Believe it or not, I was born almost your colour, with dark legs, mane and tail. My mane and tail are mostly the same colour, but they will whiten out too.” She explained. “It is the way with my sort – many of my brothers and sisters are the same.” She seemed proud of her part in the legacy, though the sadness over her father lingered.
Adoni seemed distracted, but his focus came suddenly as he broached an idea that Mayrah was not altogether opposed to. “Run with you?” She looked at him for a long moment, then away. “In what capacity?” She added. Would she be a friend, or was he asking her to be a filly in is herd? Either was fine by the dappled rose grey, though it was sudden. She had already proved she was not experienced in social situations. How did he know she would not just drive him mad!?
But she found that she so desperately did not want to be alone. Adoni’s company was cheerful and fun. He made her smile, and she thought that if she were to run with him, she would continue to enjoy his company, but would he enjoy hers?

"Oh!" He exclaimed in excitement, "that will be lovely on you." He grinned, ears pricked forward. He tried to imagine the pretty rose grey filly pale as the snow, but it was difficult for him. He shook his head, and his grin widened, "thats really cool, you know?" He chuckled, "I don't think I have ever met or seen a horse who changes colours!" He tossed his head up and down, rather pleased by this new discovery.
Adoni sighed, trying to calm his racing heart, while at the same time keep still. It was difficult, but he managed it after a moment. He flicked an ear at Mayrah and returned her question with a puzzled look, "yes, run with me..." He frowned, she'd caught him off guard. He looked away from her and thought about it, a troubled expression crossed his features, "like...in a herd." He finally said, flicking his flaxen tail up against a flank. He looked up at her and smiled a very hopeful smile.

Mayrah blinked once, and then chuckled. Adoni’s expression amused her, and she bumped her nose on his shoulder playfully. “I don’t know why you look so worried – unless it’s because you think I might say yes.” She joked, her long mane falling about her face. “I will run with you, Adoni, if you think you can put up with me.” She agreed easily. She was flattered by the golden colt, and she thought that it would be fun to run with him.
She nickered, and tossed her head. “Come on then, let’s run!” She whinnied, and dashed past him. She jumped the stream easily, and wheeled to face him. The filly reared, and pranced about waiting for him to join her. She was not usually so actively playful, but the colt had but her in high spirits. She had a friend!

Adoni jutted out his chin defiantly, flicking his ears back a little. He took a step closer and looked her in the eye, his burning with amusement and curiousity. His heart hammered in his chest as he waited for her response. "That may be it, but you will never know, will you?" He said, his eyes glittering with amusment. He couldn't hold back the delighted smile at her acceptance.
He arched his neck, his chin brushed up against his golden chest, while his flowly mane rivetted around him. He looked fierce and beautiful at the same time, not like the timid, easily confused colt he was. He laughed at Mayrah, watching her jump the stream easily. Some how he knew that she was no longer running away from him, and to his pure delight, she was actually going to run with him. He launched himself after the rose grey filly, leaping over the water, he landed easily on the other side. He skidded to a halt, spraying leaves and other bracken all over the place. "Well?" He beamed, "ladies first."

It surprised the filly that such strength could come from such beauty, and she guiltlessly appreciated his athleticism as he came over the creek. She whinnied and pawed a deep furrow in the ground with a fore-hoof. She tossed her head, deflecting his debris with a laugh. “I guess that’s me then!”
She bucked and took off at a dead gallop, skidding around bushes and leaping over rocks. She had to slow occasionally when the ground was unpredictable, but she flew like a bird over the ground, her dark tail and mane streaming out behind her.
She let out a joyful whinny, disjointed by her pace. She glanced back to Adoni, and for once she felt content. She had a friend to share the High Country with now, and that pleased her. It warmed her. The loneliness was lifting, and Mayrah hoped to never feel it again.
OOC: Shall we make a new Spring thread for them?

He chuckled and tossed his head up; half-rearing. He took a moment to watch the rose filly gallop away from him, appreciating her beauty and strength as she practically flew over the ground. It made him wonder whether her mother had been some kind of bird? He dismissed the thought with a quick shake of his golden dial.
Mayrah was a short distance infront of him, so he leapt up into a gallop and chased after her. He held his head low, with his ears laid playfully back. He let out a low whinny and threw his head into the air. He leapt over a large mound of rocks; his mane and tail rivetting out behind him beautifully.
It did not take him long to catch up with the rose grey filly, she tended to vary her pace to the type of ground; which Adoni happily copied, not wishing to slip or injure himself in any way. He gave a playful buck and followed Mayrah. It had been a long time since he had socialised with another horse; and now...he was sure he would not have to worry about that anymore.
OOC|| I think that sounds like a good idea ^.^
