OOC: I don't mind lol.
The little black filly watched him in interest while he told her his story. It was very different to hers, more... mysterious? Was that the right word? She wasn't sure but it sounded very exciting. She had heard no legends of the nightrunners in the two short years she had lived for her family knew little to nothing of the other herds because they usually kept themselves to themselves.
"I'm more of a listener than a talker," She informed him, another smile playing over her lips."So, how many nightrunners are alive at this very moment?" She asked one of the many questions that had popped into her head as soon as she had first seen him.

He stared at her, she seemed interested enough. He nodded then, "Yea? I thought you were.." He mentioned, then grinned. He moved closer to her. A chilling wind brushed past him and he shivered. Winter was slowly coming. "Well...I'm not sure, actually." He shrugged, and looked away, "I haven't been there in little over a year. A couple, but numbers are slowly diminishing." He said slowly, looking down at his hooves. Did he care? Did he really care what happened to them?
"Ahh..so..Arana." He mumbled, trying to think of something else to say. "Do you mind running with me? I mean..." He shrugged, and shuffled his hooves. She was young, and pretty, any stallion would die to have her and it was about time he tried to start a herd.. He hoped she didn't think he was some sort of weirdo. "You know.." He sighed, the words were not coming out! "Like in a herd? You know...if you didn't have anyone already." He huffed.

Her jaw dropped a couple of inches before she realised it was open and quickly shut it again. Was he really offering her the chance to start a herd? Would she join? Definitely! A smile spread across her face. "I would love to," She said, trying to hide her excitement but failing. "That is... if you really mean it?" Arana looked upwards towards the sky to see that the stars were fading and soon the top of the sun would be seen rising from behind the mountains. Night would soon be over.

Slowly, he looked over to Arana. What would she say? He stared at her carefully, frowning. Her mouth was wide open, he noticed, was she trying to find the words to reject him?? He tore his gaze away from her and stared out into the sky. The stars where begining to really fade, it would nearly be morning soon. That meant that Kambigo would have to find a place to rest and wait for the next day to end. He snorted, his vision was slowly begining to fade.
Suddenly, she spoke. He glanced over at her, wide eyed. His heart leaped. Yes! She would run with him! Yes! He grinned, "Of course I mean it!" He delcared, stretching out his muzzle to gently nuzzle her on the shoulder. "As long as you do not mind coming out through the night, I mean, you can still come out through the day, but I will have to be well hidden." He shrugged, still grinning, "I can even come out, on some days." He winked, not saying anymore. The albino stallion moved closer to his new filly, staring out as the sun slowly began to peak over the horizon. "Come on, I do not wish to become blind," he moved past her and trotted over the vast snow grass, arching his neck proudly, his steps swinging out. He quickerly slipped through the nearby trees. They would have to find a cave or something close to that.

Arana leapt forwards into a quick trot, trying to catch up with the handsome stallion. Although the morning breeze was a little cold as it brushed gently against her coat, she felt warm inside. It was no joke, she was officially part of a herd.
"I prefer to come out at night too," She said, smiling. In the day she usually felt she stood out. "It's more... quiet and my dark coat kind of camouflages me." Her pace slowed down as her head became level with his. Life was good.

Kambigo paused to turn and grin at Arana. "That is good, I would not want to keep you from the sunlight." He winked. Then melted into the bush with his new little black filly by his side.
OOC|| Real short. I'm presuming this is the end of this thread. I thought I would let you know that I have jumped into another thread with Kambigo in the Ash Forest, so you could post with Arana there. ^.^
