OOC: I love the name <3 BIC: Wahn was much too interested in finding something to catch his interest to pay attention to the man's actions so when the rope brushed against his flank he bolted a few steps in surprise before slowing to a choppy canter, kicking out once or twice as he circled the man. Finally he quieted enough to fall into a steady jog, tossing and ducking his head a few times, more for the heck of it than any real protest. He made to swerve into the centre, but just then the man urged him to a canter and he sprung forward again, settling into a comfortable rythym. He let the man get confident watching his steady gait, then, getting tired of the reptition of the circle, he ducked his head and crowhopped a few steps, pulling his hindquarters sharply under him to halt. He looked to the middle of the ring, sparse black forelock flopping over his left eye as he regarded his owner with his dark eyes, bright with energy and his ears pricked forewards as if to ask "What now? I'm bored."

Jason gave a sigh and rubbed his had through his hair and down the back of his neck. “You’re here to test me, aren’t ‘cha?” Jason palmed in his rope, coiling the loose end. “Bored of this already, eh? Alright then, Chief, we’ll try something a little more fun. Not sure how much you’re gunna like it though.” The man led the horse to the side of the corral and fastened the rope to a sturdy post. “Wait there, and don’t be chewing the rope.”
Jason clambered over the fence and jogged to fetch an old saddle and bridle. He slung the heavy old saddle over the fence next to the horse and let him have a good sniff while he climbed back over the wooden poles. “Alright, have a look at this, and get used to it.” He picked up the bridle and while Chief investigated, he adjusted a few buckles to approximate a better fit. “Okay, let’s try this. Keep the funny business to a minimum.”
The wrangler got the bridle into position, then slipped his thumb into the corner of the black stallion’s mouth and pushed the cold metal of the bit against the horse’s teeth with his fingers. The halter would have to stay on for now. Jason didn’t fancy trying to get the bridle on with Chief’s habit of making trouble without something to keep him relatively still.
