OOC; ha, Kolya is adorable! No doubt Iuk is going to lose Ganandurr in a few days and be pissed off about it for his whole life haha Iuk watched the mare with his pale eyes, sullen to the core. He was not above sulking, it seemed. Still, he was able to restrain himself from chasing off that colt! Which was something. However, his gain soon became irritating as the mare, whom he still thought lovely, told him off as if she were his dam! Iuk snorted indignantly, astonished. He was quite lost for words, only able to watch as she chided the young colt and then dropped her pretty head to graze. He shook his head, suddenly lost. But not for long - Iuk wasn't about to let her boss him around! However, he knew he had to treat this situation carefully, now that his head was screwed on a bit tighter.. though perhaps not as tight as it had been before.
He gave a soft whinny, trying to lure the mare into looking upward again - surely she had noticed how handsome he was? "What is your name, O' mare of strong heart and fierce words?" Even he was pleased with how regal that sounded - even if it was rather ridiculous to try and seem dignified after his bout of rage, chasing a colt around in circles. "I am Iuk. Named after the eel, in all its stealth and trickery" Iuk was rather proud of his namesake, knowing eels to be smart, dangerous creatures. Though hated, eels always survived. As would he.

((OOC: Sorry for the wait! I lost muse for her, but now she's back! :3))
The black and white mare watched the colt leave and shook her head. She had watched types like that not last long in this country. You had to be tough and sturdy to survive. And she had the scars under her rough coat to prove it.
When the lighter stallion turned his attentions to her and talked sweetly to her, she smirked. "Ganandurr, after charcoal that might not burn all to bright, but gives of a strong and steady heat that is hard to put out," she said, using the same fancy language he had. "And you can save your sweet talk for a young and flighty mare that will appreciate it."
Her dark head dropped back to grazing. She figured she would stay with him for a while, and if he proved to be an ignorant fool, she would drop him so quick he wouldn't be able to say dingo. After she thought a moment, she lifted up her head again. "I don't need a stallion to protect me, I can do that on my own. I won't fight on much, but I won't go and do something stupid just 'cause you say so." With that, Ganandurr had said enough and continued to graze.
