“I guess I better go,” Dilali thanked her brother for ‘consoling’ her and left. She trotted to Nevada and dragged him back. “Brael what are you doing in the open? All you’re going to do is cause trouble for Nevada and Tingara,” Dilali hissed at the moon filly. Quickly she relayed Tingara’s message of shelter and then went to find Baramay.
“I wouldn’t want to keep Nevada waiti...” Tingara stopped as a new horse appeared. It was the most amazing coloured mare Tingara had ever seen. He stopped himself calling out a greeting; if he was to meet her he’d rather do it in secret, definitely without Nevada’s knowing. Tingara whinnied good bye to Dilali and even called out a good bye to Nevada. The only thing Tingara did to try and attract the new mare’s attention was to hold his head and tail higher to say ‘Hey I’m a handsome Anglo-Arab, look at me.’ He turned to Kala and smiled. “I’m glad you’ve decided to stay, who knows you might decide you like it here,” Tingara chuckled and winked to the roan mare and went off to check on his herd to see if anyone else was about to ditch him for the white stallion.

With a squeal, Nevada turned away from watching the roans and faced his attacker. "Brael!" His hissed, nipping her neck. "I told you to stay!" Eyes wide, he glanced over his shoulder. He groaned inwardly as Tingara looked over to see Brael in all her glory. Maybe he hadn't seen, Nevada hoped. Tingara struck a pose, and Nevada knew then that his secret moon filly was secret no longer.
Dilali childed Brael, but Nevada knew it would do no good. "Brael, cause trouble? Oh, she wouldn't dream of it." He said sarcastically. "Well, the High Country had to find out some time. At least Taworri stayed hidden." Nevada nudged Brael back in the direction of the trees. "Lets go, before Tingara changes his mind about letting me stay here." And before Brael notices he's not such a mule after all.
Nudging Dilali to go ahead of him. Nevada paused on the hill and looked down at Tingara and his herd. He didn't call, and he didn't strut, but his eyes were determined. One day he would fight Tingara, and then Tingara would be the one hiding his mares from the outback itself. Huffing, Nevada trotted after Brael and Dilali, wondering how fast the word would spread, and when the first challenge for the moon filly would come.

Taworri groaned softly as Brael charged off after Nevada, she hadn't known the other moon filly for long but she realized that it was pointless to try and stop her. Best to keep herself hidden so that she didn't cause even more trouble for Nevada. She noticed that Yarran seemed torn between following his mother and obeying Nevada, and was relieved when the foal came to an uncertain halt next to her. She nudged him gently, trying to comfort him and began grooming his back gently to try and get him to relax all the while listening anxiously to what was going on down in the valley. --------------------
Kala was relieved that the black stallion didn't seem mad or offended anymore, she really hadn't meant to hurt his feelings. She dropped her head to graze, although she kept her ears, and focus, trained on what else was going on in the clearing. --------- Jannali felt awful. Not only had she unintentionally offended a very nice stallion, and made a made a bad impression infront of his mares, she was now losing her only chance of following Nevada. Sighing heavily, she couldn't resist one last look at the silvery stallion before she too dropped her head to graze. Kala shifted closer to her and nuzzled her, an attempt at comforting her she knew, but Jannali couldn't bring herself to be comforted by her sister's gesture. Everything was going wrong for the blue mare.

”Ow! Alright, alright, I’m going!” she fussed, allowing Nevada to push her back to the hiding spot. Eesh, what was all the fuss about? You’d think something utterly dreadful had just happened to him! On the way, she took a look down the valley at what Nevada had been looking at, mostly roans, a white mare, and a funny looking spotty thing. Okay, if you LIKED that kind of thing, but duh, she was obvious superior-er! The stallion was down there too. Hmm, he didn’t look that much like a mule.
Hang on, what does a mule even look like anyway?

Tingara watched the visitors leave, making sure to subtly lift his tail in his Arabesque way for the Moon filly. He whinnied one more goodbye to Dilali and then trotted back to his herd, finding a space between Crayola and Binda to graze. If Nevada was going to eye off his mares Tingara mights as well do the same one day.

Driving Brael mercilessly into the trees, he returned to the two mares and colt still hidden. "We need to go now." Nevada was obviously not in the best of moods, and he was rather brisk as he herded up his mares and began to drive them out of the valley. Tingara's farewell call to Dilali set his teeth grinding, and despite the call being for Dilali, Nevada was sure the King was implying it to Brael as well.
Nevada thought of where to take his herd. It would have to be somewhere different, somewhere he didn't usually go. But not so far that the occasional mission to spy on the roans would not take him long. Knowing just the place, Nevada took the mares up onto the valley's ridge and headed South-East.

Taworri picked up on Nevada's agitation the instant she saw him driving Brael into the clearing, Dilali following. Obviously he was not happy, and she didn't fuss or ask any questions when he began to round up the herd and drive them away without telling them where they were going. Best to just follow him, she was sure he would explain later. Most likely he was heading for a place to hide them from this stallion he had just gone to meet.
