A young filly moved silently through the bush, keeping a close eye on her hoofprints and listening intently to the bush around her. She knew humans lived near here, and she wanted a glimpse of them before they got one of her. Yeah, she had heard they liked silver horses, but she thought she was invincible! Doowi snaked her head around the last stand of trees, and stared at the hut intently. There didn't seem to be any sign of movement, so she approached again. Now her beautiful silver form was clearly visible, but she didn't care. Her nostrils were flaring at the strange scents, and her ears were memorizing the sounds of leather. This information would be needed later. This was fun! The filly snorted in amusement, completely forgetting the need for silence, and proceeded to prance and dance around the small clearing she was in, making a lot of noise and feeling brave.

Waiirri was anxiously trotting through the trees, his skin creeping and his ears flicking back and forth nervously. He hated being alone. It was not that he lacked courage...he just couldn't stand the silence and the total lack of company. He trotted along the ridge, not quite sure where he was going, but hoping that his choice of direction would take him to the company of other horses soon, preferably the company of mares of course. Suddenly he stopped as a gust of wind blew past him, could he smell another horse? He breathed in deeply and sure enough he could smell a single horse below, and a filly none the less! His chest and vocal chords began to vibrate but he caught himself just before he could whinny a loud welcome to the stranger. There was a hut where humans resided below him, he didn't want to blow his, or the filly's, cover. Come to think of it, where the filly's scent was coming from was pretty much directly where the hut was...what was she doing there? Could she be a tame horse? No...Waiiri was fairly certain it was another brumby like him. Cautiously, he crept over to the edge of the ridge and peered down through the trees. Suddenly his eyes caught a flash of silver and he watched in disbelief as a beautiful, creamy filly danced into the open clearing around the man's hut. Now he couldn't help himself, he called to her "I am Waiirri" he cried "Beware the men! Come with me!" Then, looking frantically for a way down the slope, lest she disappear on him, he finally found a narrow track and began to trot down it as fast as he dared, trying to remember Warring's advice on moving silently through the bush, and all the while listening intently for a reply from the filly.

Doowi had a lot of fun as she pranced and played, and even managed to snatch up some grass in between bounces. Of this she became very proud, and started to dance with more vigour. Her beautiful coat became slightly sweaty, and soon she stopped and drank from the stream. Her ears flicked this way and that, and caught a cry from another horse. She looked up, irritated. She knew how to take care of herself! After a few minutes of staring evilly at the place she had seen him, Doowi sighed and reluctantly moved off. She knew of the danger, but was sure she was invincible. Anyway, she was tired. The filly decided it was time to move, and began to trot. She wanted to meet this other stallion, and tell him she didn't need his help!

Grazing on the ridge, a young chestnut filly spotted the stallion making his way down. Checking that her mother was preoccupied, she danced away as if to only explore a little ways. Fire glanced up, but permitted her foal to have some distance. After all, she was learning quickly and she was unlikely to get into danger. Just in case, she told Kimba not to stray far with an absent nicker and returned to grazing.
Kimba kicked up her heels and cantered across the ridge to where the stallion had left his trail. She sniffed daintily at the prints, comparing the size of his hooves to her own. His print was huge! She sniffed and pawed at the prints for a little while, then curiosity got the better of her and she began to follow them. At the base of the ridge, she stopped. She could see the pale stallion now, approaching a young creamy. Kimba snorted, almost jealous. Kimba was barely half a year old, but already she was beginning to think about the future, and was becoming somewhat vain.
Backing into the cover, Kimba let out a quiet, sweet nicker, wanting to entice the pale blue stallion to her! What a fun game it would be to lead him on a chase, only for him to discover her youth. Perhaps she could lead him up the ridge to her mother. Fira had expressed no interest in other stallions since Kimba had lived, and the young filly was sure she must get lonely at times. Maybe this handsome blue roan would encourage her to join a herd. Then Kimba could have friends!
Calling again a little louder, Kimba tried her best to sound mature, and challenged the stallion to come and find her before she rushed away, back up the ridge toward her mother.

OOC: ahh! poor Waiirri! he surrounded by rotten females on all sides just kidding ;P --------- Waiiri continued to trot down the path towards where he had last seen the creamy filly. As he trotted down the incline, he heard another filly call from off to his left and was almost distracted. He stopped uncertainly and turned in the direction of the sound but couldn't see anyone. Bobbing his head in frusteration he decided to continue towards the silver filly. He resumed trotting, picking up his pace. He heard the other filly call once again, calling for him to follow her, and snorted in frusteration. There was something strange about her call, it was very high pitched and immature but he shrugged, she must be at least two years old if she was calling to a stallion. Still, he was determined to find this creamy, maybe later he could come back and figure out who the call belonged to. "Wait" he called back, "I will come" and looking carefully around to make sure he knew where the call had came from, he began to canter quickly the way he had been originally heading. He would have to find the creamy, convince her to follow him (which shouldn't be *that* hard right? He was handsome and she was alone it was only natural that she should follow him) then rush back up this way to figure out why the other filly had been calling to him. As he rounded a bend in the path, Waiirri was surprised to see the creamy in fact coming towards him. He had been so preoccupied with following her trail he had forgot to listen or scent for her! Anyways, now that he was so close he began to get excited and was just about to call gently to her again when he noticed her over all body posture was...angry. Was she mad at him? It sure looked like it. She had almost reached him now, and he took an uncertain step forward, extending his nose to her in greeting, his nostrils quivering from a mixture of nerves and excitement. His whole body trembled and he nickered deeply, trying to tell her that he only meant well and entice her into following him at the same time.

Her ears pinned back at the sight of him, and she arched her neck to bare her teeth more menacingly. Her eyes glowed with evil intent, and her breath came in short gasps. You had interrupted her playtime! You're SO going down! He gave a whinny, soft and attracting, and Doowi hesitated in what she thought of as self-protection. Had he actually lured her away from that delightful grassy area so they could travel together? Adventure? Her muzzle twitched, and the creamy froze, daydreaming about adventure. Fun! Danger! Well, maybe danger wouldn't be so fun. But excitement! Doowi reached out her muzzle tentatively, in greeting. She was still cautious, but very, very excited.
OOC- xD she's so much fun to rp!

Kimba realised the stallion had been distracted by the creamy, ans she paused near the peak of the ridge and called to him again, urging him to follow. In Kimba's imagination, stallions were supposed to be intrigued by mysterious fillies! Stomping a hoof, Kimba climbed up to the top. Her mother was still grazing a little way down the ridge, and Kimba peeked out of the cover to see her. She could no longer see the stallion with the copse of trees between them, and neither could Fira.
Lifting her head from grazing, the mare called to her filly. "Come." There was no inflection in the tone to weather it was addressed to a foal or a stallion, and if the roan heard it, he might think there were two mares luring him.
Kimba sighed and cantered out across the ridge and stopped next to her mother. With a lurch, Fira lunged at Kimba. The young filly squealed in delight, kicked up her heels and ran in a wide circle while her mother chased after her with teeth bared, and her ears pinned forward. The two often played this game, as Fira didn't know any others. Kimba turned sharply and reared up, careful not to catch her mother's head with flailing hooves. Fira danced away, and the pair continued to play this odd game of tag on open top of the ridge.

Waiirri breathed deeply into the filly's nostrils in greeting, nickering again and nodding his head. OK, so she wasn't quite what he'd expected, a little more malignant than most fillies he'd met, but she wasbeautiful. "Run with me," he nickered, making sure that his call sounded like an invitation and not a command, he didn't want to offend her. He stepped a short distance away and arch his neck, flexing his powerful and impressive muscles (for his age at least) to show off for her. Then he tossed his head and trotted a little ways off, inviting her to run with him. As he pranced over towards the mountain path, he heard another mare call "Come" she said, but he couldn't tell if he was talking to her or not. Still, he had promised to find out what the other filly was calling him for. Now though, he had to commit his energy into impressing this creamy. Bobbing his head he whickered once more, a low and inviting sound that spoke of galloping and playing in the wind.

The filly squealed in a playful challenge, and leaped forward to nip him on the shoulder. She thought EVERYTHING was a game, and that's a true thing. She would probably eat dirt if someone told her it tasted like chocolate. She pinned her ears back one second, flicked them forward another, then began to romp and play. But because of how much she had played in the valley below, her muscles became tired very quickly, and she soon stopped to rest. The creek did not run up here, so she had nothing to drink, but that did not matter. Doowi thought she was invincible! The stallion was showing off, arhcing his neck and looking handsome. The very naiive creamy immediately fell for him, and stood there quietly for a few seconds, admiring his strength. then the moment was gone and she was instantly a playful filly once again. Doowi likes you!
