Garrong suddenly felt the creamy wrench himself out of his grasp, and he had barely enough sense to try and lift his head up out of the way of Nevada’s hooves, but a bit too late. The blow hit him in the side of face below the right eye in a manner which communicated quite clearly that he had just narrowly escaped what could have been quite serious. Nevada's back legs were certainly going to need to be avoided.
He didn’t rush back at Nevada immediately, mostly because he needed a few seconds to stop his head spinning, and instead turned around as he did, facing his adversary at all times. As blood started to pour down his face, the taste of his own blood started to mingle with his own, a sensation he didn't appreciate. He bared his red-stained teeth, ears pinned back in a display of aggression as he pondered the next move. If Nevada struck first, he would never get out of the way in time, but if he struck Nevada first, the creamy would just wait and dart away at the last second to aim a kick.
Garrong quickly made up his mind and made a run at Nevada slightly towards the white horses left, then leapt away himself in the case of a kick, hoping to disorientate him again and strike at the first opportunity.

Relieved that Yarran had made it back to his mother in time, Taworri watched in horror as the fight took place. She knew Nevada was strong, but he had been traveling all day and the black brute had launched a surprise attack, could the silver stallion recover? Alot of things seemed to be against Nevada, the black had got the first hold, was not already exhausted from traveling all day and he was much heavier than Nevada. Taworri shuddered as she pictured belonging to the herd of the black stallion, she had not been with Nevada for long but she already liked him, not to mention that any stallion that was so cowardly he had to launch a surprise attack was hardly someone she wanted to be with. Still there was nothing she could but watch and hope that Nevada won, for his sake and the sake of his mares.

The black began to charged, and Nevada almost panicked when he realised that seeing the sudden movement in the dark was near to impossible. No wonder the first charge had been so unexpected. The stallion came toward his left, and Nevada lashed out, his feet coming down on thin air as the black stallion feinted away. Snorting angrily, Nevada knew he wouldn't be ready for the next attack and braced himself, turning his head away.

This whole attack was going well, way too well. He didn’t want to run the risk that Nevada was planning something, so he wanted this fight done fast. If he could knock him over and keep him down that could potentially knock the fight down to half its length and he could kill the fool and still have enough energy to round up the mares. He was heavier to be sure, but that just meant he worse out quicker, and didn’t want to run the risk that Nevada had that damn silver gene that meant he could prance around like a fairy and never run out of juice.
He turned around as fast as his heavy-set body would allow and charged right at Nevada’s side, leaping at him when he was in range to charge into him with his chest like a battering ram while his hooves would bash into Nevada’s legs as he came down. It would hurt him too to be sure, but it was worth it if he could get the white horse off his balance or even better, on the floor.

Nevada turned his body after his head, aiming a kick at the black with his back legs before trying his best to get out of range. He felt hooves land on his right haunch, and he squealed half in anger and half in pain. With all the weight behind that blow, it would hurt even more later. His balance wavered, and his position left a good opening for another wither hold.

Garrong would have jumped on the opportunity hadn’t the damn creamy gone and kicked him square in the throat. Garrong felt as he collided with Nevada, then he reeled with a strange rasping noise as for a moment he panicked that he wouldn’t be able to breathe. He hadn’t spotted how Nevada had fared so he cantered away in a tight arc out of direct range of Nevada’s hooves, shaking his head a few times until he felt the passage of air return to normal.
He looked up in time to spot one of the black and white mares, the one with the sock, go darting over to Nevada with a comedic shrill whinny to check if he was all right during the seconds that it took them both to recover. Woah, that was a whole new level of stupid right there. He just stood, looking at Brael in surprise. No, jumping him now felt almost like a cheap shot... Seriously, was the mare retarded in some way?
--
If Yarran could have ran over and dragged his mother back by the tail, he probabaly would, but at least he had inherited a sense of self preservation. In a flash he was pasted back at Taworri's side, his hindquarter stuck against her shoulder as he screamed at her to come back for the second time that week.

Ooc: *random enterance* Bic:
The sounds of stallions screaming echoed through the valley. It rang around the ghostly-moonlit walls. Further away from the fight, Althea approuched. For once, the cries drew her towards them. She couldn't help but smirk at herself, "Stupid fool," she muttered to herself, dragging onwards. It wasn't like her to be attracted to the sounds of stallions, but she wanted to see this massive fight.
It wasn't long till she found what she was looking for. The buckskin mare took hasty steps along the ridge she was on, till she found a good place to view the fight from. A massive black shadow against a silver creamy. While she watched the brawl, she hadn't noticed the black stallion next to her(Tingara).

Dilali watched as Brael went over to Nevada when there was a break in the fight. In her mind she pulled her back but her body refused to move out of fear. Through the darkness Dilali saw the black stallion’s eyes glint maliciously and finally her body geared into action. “Brael you must get out of the way!” she called before darting between Nevada and Brael. She began to push the other mare out of hope that she would get the message to move.
Tingara’s concentration on the fight and what he would do about the new stallion was interrupted suddenly with the arrival of yet another strange horse. In the darkness he could see that it was a buckskin mare. It seemed the once avoided Brolga’s Valley was the place to be this night. As the new mare got closer Tingara noticed her eyes were on the fight below, she hadn’t seen him yet. Finally she stopped almost directly beside him without noticing him. Tingara let out a small nicker to let her know he was there.

Panting, Nevada glared at Brael, the whites of his eyes showing. "BRAEL!" He snarled, baring his teeth. "Get back. Do as I say for once." Stamping his forefeet, he took off toward the black. The idea was to take a shot at him on the way past and draw the fight away from the curious mares. He was furious now, and the dark hid most of the signs. The veins in his legs stood out, full to the brim with the blood that had been supplied to his muscles. His heart was racing, circulating the blood faster. His breathing was deep, and the inside of his nostrils and the whites of his eyes were tinged red with the fury.

Taworri looked on in complete disbelief as Brael dashed over to Nevada at a momentary lapse in the fight. "Brael-come back!" she squealed in shock. Yarran glued himself to her shoulder and she nuzzled the red colt briefly to try and reassure him. It wasn't his fault he had such a nutcase for a mother. The poor colt was squealing for his mother to get out of trouble, wasn't it supposed to be the other way around?!
