Amira watched her half-brother in fascination as he reared and balanced cautiously on his hind feet. Too timid to try it herself for now, she simply trotted over to his and nickered sweetly for him to return to all fours so that they could continue to play.
Irawaddy grazed peacefully beside Coorah, one ear trained on the activities of the foals, the other on their surroundings.

The red colt fell down to four hooves again, and snuffled at her muzzle in a friendly way, like puppies do, except that they lick anything that comes close to them. He then arched his neck, and began to sort of bounce like a rocking horse, first on his front feet, then on his back feet. He bounced for quite a while, but became a bit tired and nosed at his mum for a drink. Coorah didn't pay much attention, but moved so he could get to the milk.

Amarina watched as her half-brother went over to get a drink from his mother. Copying him she trotted over to Irawaddy and began to suckle, her tail whisking happily as she drank the vital milk. Already she had begun to look up to her brother, even though he was barely 24 hours older than she. After she had finished drinking she flopped down tiredly beside Irawaddy's hooves. It had been a long day for a newborn foal and she was tired. Irawaddy nuzzled her foal gently, glad to have a newborn to baby once again. She gazed lovingly at her foal then resumed grazing. It was so peaceful in this little clearing. Glancing over at Coorah and her colt she thought that perhaps they should return to the herd soon. She was anxious to make sure Omaroo was ok. Of course, she should probably have been more worried about poor Nandalie.

Coorah was feeling nervous, too. She had a bad feeling that the foals were up to no good. Call it her mother-radar. The colt finished drinking pretty soon, and Coorah began to nudge him with her nose. "I think it'd be best if we were off," she called out to her friend, and side-stepped towards the general area they had left the herd.
OOC- sorry, no muse!

Irawaddy nodded "I agree" she said, "Poor Nandalie could probably use some relief by now," Gently, she nosed Amarina until the little foal woke, then nudged her to her feet. "Come on sweetheart," she said to her little daughter "It's time to go meet the rest of the herd." She too stepped off in the general direction of the herd.
OOC: that's ok, me neither really, do you think we should make a new thread now, one for everyone in the herd? there's no point in rping the journey back really is there? unless you want them to end up seeing the brumby drive and then having to panic and get away to get back to the herd, which is always an option. what do you think?

OOC- Maybe they could see the men, head back really fast and catch Nandalie with the foals in a completely random place ^^
