Wyralla nodded stoutly in response to the stallion's question, despite her previous upset she was more than ready to try this 'swimming' thing again. It actually sounded quite fun when the grey put it that way but this time she waited for his lead before striking out. ------------- Kala steadied her nerves, steeling herself for another attempt at the corssing. She looked on with newfound respect and affection for Nevada as he explained how to cross the lake to her young daughter. Slowly the red roan moved to the other side of her daughter. She saw that Wyralla was ready to give it another go and nuzzling her once for reassurance (more for herself than the little foal, who was displaying no signs of anxiety whatsoever) she then looked up at Nevada and nodded, waiting for him to make the first move. Despite Nevada's confidence the Crackenback River had never seemed so wide as it did now to the roan mare.
