Ria's ears pricked up. The King? Well, she was only fit for a King, but she wasn't sure she was so ready to just dish over her newfound freedom to some other stallion yet. She nudged Brael again with her nose. "What do you think, Brael?" She asked, "Im not sure I want to run around with some sub-par King!" She tossed her mane and swished her tail in a fashion that was far too egotistical for any normal horse. She trotted to Ammi and bent her nose down. "Little doggie." She cooed to the canine as if she were a puppy, "I think maybe you have a hidden agenda, hmm?"

Brael gave an amused snort at Ria’s treatment of the dingo. Even though Ammi had shown herself as intelligent and capable Brael wasn’t going to get over years of superiority complex any time soon. If Ria was right though, she had to give the dingo credit for being sneaky. Her sister was always better at dealing with others than she was.
”He shouldn’t be too hard to find on our own shouldn’t it?’ she questioned. ”Just look for the biggest herd, in the best grazing ground, with the most arrogant stallion.”

Ammi snorted. A hidden agenda? Did contemplating chasing them off a cliff and feasting on their vain little hearts count? She shook her head to herself. Horse meat was overrated. She preferred wallaby. "I happen to be seeking him out for my own needs, so it would be no trouble to bring you two along with me. And your are mistaken about arrogance. Arrogance is for those who think they are the best, not for those that know they are supreme." Standing, the dingo shook out her coat. "Well, it was nice meeting you. Its a pity you're not interesting in meeting the Brumby King. Ah well, may your travels bring you to your destination, wherever that may be..." She turned and started to trot away as if to leave the pair there on their own. It was a ruse of course. It was doubtful the selfish mares even knew where they were gong, let alone where they had come from. They had that look about them that said: Lost.

As Ammi padded away, Ria snorted at her in disbelief! What a pretentious little dingo! Raving on about the King like he was actually a good thing! "Cmon, Brael. We don't need to talk to some silly little dog." She said pompously, "lets go ask some horses for directions. They probably make more sense than that canine who's brains have been out under the hot sun for too long."

Brael wasn’t entirely happy to watch the dingo go for two reasons. First, she was the only one that knew where they where, and second, if Ria was right about hidden agendas there was no guarantee she wouldn’t run off and do something that might hinder them later. But, mostly, it was the first point.
”Uh...” she said stupidly, looking around to try and figure out the most likely location to find a herd. ”Maybe if we follow the river down there’ll be others around.”
