Appearance: Dakota is a strange mix. The mare would be described as a silver dapple dunskin - put plainly, she's a reddish-buckskin hue due to the dun gene and she also displays clear grulla markings. These markings are dark brown in appearance and quite apparent. Her mane and tail is a pale cream shade, making her stand out like a sore thumb. Dakota also has white coronet markings on all four hooves. Her build is average and nondescript - at 15.1hh, she's nothing quite special to marvel at. She's built compactly and sturdy, but still manages to achieve an air of defenselessness with her small stature.
Personality: Dakota is quite mellow and often goes about with her head in the clouds. She's a pretty little dreamer, but never acts on her fantasies. She prefers to plot and plan rather than take action, but if the situation calls for her to be strong she can be downright vindictive. The mare is fiercely protective of her herd and friends, but she's often taken advantage of because of her willingness to please.
