Latymier
Latymier is a young grullo Kiger Mustang stallion.
Personality: Cunning and intelligent, Latymier is far beyond his young age. He hopes to lead his own herd, but knows that he must grow stronger and older before this is likely to happen. This Kiger stallion is very thoughtful and difficult to outwit. He loves fighting because he is exceptional at it and always willing and wanting to learn more of his skills. He is an opportunist and is patient enough to lay low until he knows when to act. He is quite unpredictable in his actions and attempts to keep others questioning him. A horse would have to get to know Latymier very well and for a long time before knowing him at all.
His personality is between sarcastic and just plain rude. His words can hurt, but he knows where and when and to whom to use his barbed tongue. He can also be charming, as long as it serves his purpose. Can this hard heart be softened as he grows older and matures with other horses?
History: This stallion is the son of a mare who was angry at the world. Her grulla pelt was passed on along with her attitude that everyone and everything ends up betraying you at some point in time and trust is not to be given lightly. Treated badly by humans, she taught her son never to trust them. He was taught caution and cunning above all else and knows how to manipulate and get along with just about anyone while keeping on his guard. The other captive horses on the breeding farm kept their distance, but the curious colt socialized far more than his mother in spite of her untrusting belief that he should be a loner. He became a social loner because of this and keeps walls up while others think he is being open.
After he was deemed too stubborn to be trained, the stallion was shipped to Austrailia to a gullable buyer, who thought he was beautiful and easy going. She found out differently, however, when he burst from the trailer to run for freedom in the outback.
