A small grey shape was moving behind the trees, shining silver in the bright sunlight and completely still. You might have mistaken it for part of a river, so quiet she was, but those experienced in the ways of tracking and/or searching would see that a Silver Brumby was behind those trees. Her delicate ears flicked everywhere, catching all sounds, and she seemed pised, as if ready to take flight immediately. Darker hooves suddenly danced, and Eerin, named for the small grey owl, cantered out into the open. She threw her head up, enjoying the open air, and whinnied before common sense told her it was a stupid idea. Sound carries far, up so high. Eerin continued to canter nonetheless.
