Being a pure bred Thoroughbred, Aminta stands at about 15.2 hh. She as a lithe form, sturdy and strong, she is built as most Thoroughbred's are. She is muscled well, and has a proud head, undamaged by some of the harsher bits that jockey's sometimes use on race horses mouths, and a elegant neck. She is dark bay in colour, with the traditional blacker markings on her legs, and one white sock on her hind left leg. She has the begingings of a blase on her forehead, but it fades just after her eye line, and then reappears at her nose. Her browny black eyes show no signs of ill treatment or the whites.
Personality:
Aminta was one of the most well behaved horses on her yard when she was there. She is gentle, kind and has the ability to love witout question, which brought her to the outback in the first place. She was broken in well, and has no vice in her. She was a pleasant mount for the people who were the jockies at the race corse. She trusts humans, and if she sees them, no matter the warning he'll go greet them.
History:
Born in early March, Aminta was premature. The vets said that the filly probably would last very long, but within the next couple of weeks, the small filly showed them that she could and she would. Once she was weaned, she was left with her mother in pasture for about a year, when her mum went back to work at the races, she spent her time in fields with the other colts and fillies. They started to break her in at the age of 3. She was a great success at the races, winning more than she lost, and she had her first foal when she was four. She was well looked after, and fleet of foot, racking in the cash for her owners. Just beofre her the last summer, there was a raid at the yard, and being one of the prise horses, Aminta was taken from her stall and taken to the High Country. She lived with the men in Cascade Hut for a while before they decided that it might be safe for them to re-enter the lower lands with her. During one of the storms, the mare escaped and ran to anywhere away from the men. Soon she found herself lost and alone.
