Appearance: Ana is a diluted sorrel pied mare. Her spots are large and broken, with ticking splattered over her neck and down her legs. Her left side has more prominent splashing than her right, though both sides of her face are mirrored. Her mane and tail are cream colored and are stringy and thinned, mostly from over-grooming from her playmates as a youngster. She has soft, brown eyes, comparable to melted chocolate.
Personality: Ana is hard to put a tag on. She's a quiet, reserved mare, and prefers the tranquility of loneliness to the scatterbrained lifestyle as a herd mare. She likes to please, but has a temper that can be assuaged when handled with care. She's not a fool, but she's not clever either, and can be swayed into a situation far out of her control if met with a horse of higher intelligence or charm. She has an independent streak, but is faithfully loyal to those who she trusts and expects the same out of those who manage to befriend her. She has a hard time following a higher authority, and tends to get bossy and over demanding if handed power without instruction. As a mother, she's not super-mom and doesn't always know what to do, but she tries her hardest and takes things by stride.
