Name: Cara Mia (Latin – Beloved Lady) Species: Brumby Gender: Female Age: 4 Appearance: Mainly a rich, fiery chestnut, Cara Mia is gifted with a white star and snip as well as twin white socks on her forelegs and stockings on her hind legs. Her mane and tail are mingled light and dark strands, some ranging as far as rich brown and honey gold if you look close enough; her eyes, light brown, can sometimes be compared to liquid amber if the light is good. Cara Mia is a diamond in the rough among the common colours. Although she has a very common pelt she was lucky enough to inherit her mother’s natural beauty, taking away from the ‘common’ element of her appearance. Personality: A generally intelligent young mare, Cara Mia can sometimes be rather naive and silly. She is, after all, scarcely out of foal-hood and just trying to make her way in the world. Compassionate and caring, Cara will do all she can to help those in need, sometimes overlooking their more devious, if obvious, illusions, to her own peril. She was ‘raised right,’ as the saying goes, and although she has an adventurous streak a mile long and a bit of a rebel somewhere deep down, she will generally behave and try to make a good impression on those around her. To sum her up in a word: Free-spirited. History: Born on a human ranch, Cara Mia was originally intended to be a broodmare until her mother decided she didn’t want that life for her daughter. She showed Cara to a place at the far end of the paddock where a board had rotted away to almost nothing, unbeknownst to their human owners, on Cara’s 4th birthday and since that day the young mare has been free to do as she pleases in the wide open spaces and winding mountain pathways of Kosciusko country. She wanted her mother to accompany her, and maybe her father too, but the pretty old mare declined, telling her that there was no place in the wild world for a tame, elderly mare, even with her mate. And so Cara left on her own by twilight, just before the humans came to get them for the night. When they discovered the broken board they fixed it and let Cara stay wild, hoping that someone would one day recapture her on a Brumby run.
And so it stands.
Genes: If someone wants to tell me what they should be, go right ahead; I’m horrible with this stuff xD Extra Comments: None =)

Welcome to Kossy! Chesnut genes are as simple as:
ee
Unless she has any hidden traits you might want her to pass along if you choose to use the genes when breeding (its optional).
