Name: Aru
Species: Brumby
Gender: Mare
Age: 3
Appearance: A finely-shaped bay mare, prettier than most but her coat is a regular colour.
Personality: Aru likes to make herself heard, and to have her own opinions taken seriously. If you tell her to keep her mouth shut, she'll find a way to get back at you, believe me. She is kind to most horses, but has a deep disgust for mares that seem to cling to their stallions like glue. Aru likes to chance danger, walking up to pens and chatting unconcernedly with the horses inside until there is no way she can avoid running for her life. Thankfully for her, she knows the bush very well, and can hide with her dark coat without any trouble at all.
History: Aru was born high in the mountains, with a herd that was known for their stanima and endurance. Her mother passed down a bay hide, and her father passed down the beauty that made him attractive to so many mares. Her mother decided to name her for her sweet face and gentle nature, while her father looked on, a bit disapproving. He wanted to name her for a storm's gale, or perhaps for the lightning that struck the same place only once; nontheless, he let things be.
Aru decided to leave home earlier than most horses, and has traveled down to be with the other mountain brumbies. She now likes to hang around the huts, waiting for a safe time, so she can ask the 'tame' horses what they think of the weather, or of the way the Gang-Gangs soar in the sky.
Genes: Bay... just regular bay, sorry for not being helpful =(
