Bio
Name: Alex Conway
Gender: Male
Age: 29
Appearance:
Alex is fairly tall at 6’1” with dark hair that he keeps short enough that he doesn’t have to bother with it much and brown eyes. He’s in reasonable physical condition as he used to be a police officer.
Personality: He’s a nice enough guy, hardworking, enthusiastic and loyal. He has a tendency to do things on the spur of the moment when he isn’t adequately prepared which gets him into all kinds of trouble. He also rarely finishes the projects he starts, usually because something new and infinitely more exciting comes along.
History: Alex was just your average cop, breaking up minor disputes and generally keeping the peace. He had a wife, who he loved in the way you love somebody you’ve known your whole life. The two of them were childhood sweethearts who married each other simply because there was nobody better around at the time. All that changed the day he tried to stop a man from robbing the local grocery store. He ended up getting shot through the shoulder with a hunting rifle and, while considered lucky that the bullet didn’t puncture a lung, the injury never fully healed so he was given an honourable discharge from his job.
Shortly after he found out his wife was having an affair with the milkman, who was also indecently his best friend since childhood. When he confronted his wife about it she said he could never satisfy him the way Joe did and proceeded to throw him out of the house. Having lost everything he knew Alex decided to do something different with his life and so the plan to write an article on wild horses was born. He arrived thoroughly unprepared for the whole thing and so far has only managed to get himself a nasty sunburn.
Extra Comments: He is made of FAIL.
Hut Stuff
Hut to Join: Dead Horse Hut
Occupation: Other - Alex is writing an article on wild horses and taming them. He also fancies himself a bit of an amateur photographer and carries his camera around taking blurry photos of the spectacular landscapes… and, more often than not, his thumb.
Horse Stuff
Extra Comments: Alex is completely clueless about horses and so obviously doesn‘t own one. The extent of his knowledge consists of “They’re the big ones with four legs.” He plans to learn a bit more about them during the process of writing his article, although he is quickly learning him and horses really don’t mix well.
Cat Stuff
Name: Cat
Gender: Unknown (Female but Alex has never bothered to check, nor would he know what to look for).
Age: Unknown
Species: Cat
Breed: Calico
Appearence: Cat’s fur is a mixture of orange, white and brown patches. Cat is rather skinny as she was a stray for a good few years before Alex scooped her up.
Personality: Rather unfriendly, but may allow you to pet her if you give her food. She likes Alex well enough and seems to enjoy digging her claws into his legs when she sits on his lap.
History: Somewhere along the journey to Dead Horse Hut Alex made the mistake of feeding Cat. She’s followed him ever since and he’s earned her loyalty mainly through feeding her again.
Extra comments: Dogs beware. Chasing Cat may seem like fun for a while, but then she’ll get bored of being disturbed and scratch you on the nose.
