Coorah was very interested in the stallion's speech, and sniffed at his muzzle for a 'proper' greeting. She liked Jerome a lot, even if he was showing off a bit too much. His coat shone handsomely, and her own coat, which looked rather boring, did happen to fit in right next to his. She stepped closer to him, allowing their bodies to keep each other warm. The canine's outburst shocked her a little, and she looked at him. It appeared to be grumpy no-one was fawning over it. She strode over to him, and sniffed at its nose, then slightly licked him and returned to Jerome's side. "You make it Spring for me, and for all mares lucky enough to see it," she murmered shyly, glancing at him through snow-covered eyelashes.

"We are such a perfect match that I could not bare to part with you. If you were to stay and run with me, I would make it Spring for you always."
Jerome will rear up and pose, letting the cold wind brush back his mane.
"This I promise you." He will neigh out to the sky, announcing it to the whole world.

Bold smiled a little when Coorah licked him. It sounded strange, but atleast it was a bit friendly, compared to this rude stallion!(no offense chibi, not to you anyway ^.^) After the mare went back, Bold got out his temper again. "Such rudeness! Why, you are even worse than that ancient ruffian Arrow!" he snapped at Jerome. "I save you, and what do you do? Ignore me! I wish you bad luck through your life, and generations to pass!" he spoke very firmly, his lips were pinned back and his teeth were shining, although they weren't something to admire if they got hold of you, not that he would try to harm much.

Coorah shivered at the display of Jerome's power, and backed away a few steps so when he landed he would not accidentally hit her. When he landed, however, she rushed to his side again, deciding to hardly ever leave it, unless they were running and she had to avoid his hooves. "And I promise you, Jerome, I will not leave your side without a bullet in my heart," She whinnied, and winked at the Dingo good-naturedly.

Jerome touched noses with Coorah before finally turning to Bold,
"Are you still here?" Jerome huffed and sighed. "You act like I could not protect myself and my mare. I could easily handle a snake should any pose a threat but I saw no threat to me or my lady so you've really injured that snake for your own personal gain. If you think you can get in favour with the future King so easily you are mistaken."

Coorah watched her stallion thunder at the dingo, and shivered. The future king? A great ambition. She would help his cause, even by granting him heirs if she had to. The sooty mare stamped the snowy ground hard, causing a sheet of snow to fall from her legs and back.

Bold growled deep within his throat. "Future king, you think! I'd like to see such an arrogant beast such as yourself reach that rank! The current king is noble and fine, but you, insulting one of the bush's creatures, I could never see that," he hissed. Then he turned to Coorah, "As for you, ma'am, it is up to you which stallion you choose, but if I were so fine as you, i'd pick someone worthy of you," he smirked at Jerome, turned around, and silently padded away into the snow drifts.

Jerome huffed and tossed his head back at Bold's word. What a foolish mutt, to have the rudeness to run into someone as brillant and important as himself and not realise it. To have the gall to call him rude? Jerome contemplated going and cuffing the smaller animal around the head but ignored it. The winter would take care of that one.
"The current king is a brute who only holds his position this season because he fights with numbers and not honour and true strength. Come my Coorah, I shall take you to a place which shows you one beauty of this horrid winter."
With that, Jerome will stride proudly along the riverbank, expecting Coorah to follow.

Coorah quickly hurried after Jerome, glancing furtively all around them. She didn't know whether to follow the Dingo's advice or not, but she did need a stallion to help her through the winter, so for now she would stay with Jerome. Besides, he was nice. Her black mane and tail flicked every now and then, whipping away non-existent flies as Coorah kept up with Jerome. "I come, Jerome. I look forward to your taking of the position," she spoke quietly, not knowing if it was going too far to say so.

"As do I, and when I am King. You will be my queen. You will be unlike that tempermental queen that the current King holds. For I can see that you are gentle and fair which is a good match to my pure strength"
Jerome will trot with his nose in the air and his feet lifted high as he goes.
