There was once a peaceful land were herds roamed fearlessly, they didn't have to live in fear at all. There was on horse in particular who stuck out the most, and this, is his story and how his life and the land he created went to hell. His name is Artaxe, and he's a large Gypsy Vanner stallion. He's the oldest horse alive to this day, he created this land, he brought it to what it was today. Well, not exactly to the chaos that's going on now, but he was the one who discovered this once beautiful land. Horses weren't divided up into elements, though they knew their powers, and there wasn't any of that king stuff either. Artaxe was the one and only leader of the land, he was the most powerful and wise horse, he kept the peace and he guided some of the herds when it was needed. He had a herd of his own of course, and they were the only herd of all Gypsy Vanners, much like himself. They were powerful also, they carried on his legacy though they didn't get the immortality gene that he had. It was unknown how Artaxe got his powers, if it was from birth or if something magical happened one day. He was originally born with the powers of the Water element, but as his life progressed he found himself getting the powers of the Earth, Air and Fire elements also. It confused him why he was getting all these powers, and he tried to keep them a secret. As years passed, members of his herd died while he stayed the same. He aged, though he didn't look any different, and he's centuries old by now. He has the most knowledge any horse could have. Artaxe lives a happy life, roaming around the land he created, watching the herds of the four elements that once lived in peace.
One day, everything changed. The herds weren't so peaceful anymore, they were separated into their own four elements, and some of them even had their own territories. They had strict rules with their herds, if someone stepped on their territory from another element, they'd probably be killed. The new generation of herds, they were different now. Artaxe's legacy lived on, it was still being carried on. Though, one thing he didn't know, was that he has a son, still alive, with the same powers as him and the immortality gene also. His name is unknown, and he's only been seen in the lands once or twice, just a mysterious roamer wandering about. Nobody knew who he was, not even Artaxe himself. Though, the wise stallion's kin wasn't that old, he had just as much knowledge as his father, but he didn't know about his full powers yet.
Strange things have been happening around lately, Artaxe was clueless on what was happening to his once beautiful land. The flowers were dying in the meadows, the water didn't look that fresh anymore, and both the beaches looked the same now. The skies were usually dark, except a few rare days. Mares have been disappearing left and right, the stallions not even noticing until days after. Weeks went by, and one day, they noticed Artaxe was missing. He was kidnapped, by who, nobody knew, it was a mystery. Each of the four elements accused one another of taking him, the four kings declared war on one another. It was like all hell broke loose. They were releasing their powers on each other's territories and at each other.
What they didn't know, was that they weren't alone. There was a new, mysterious herd among them. Their goal, was to be the most powerful herd around, and so they were stealing mares any chance they could from each element to kill and drain their powers so they could be very powerful. Besides Artaxe, the four kings were the most powerful if you combined all their powers, and their goal once they got enough mares was to capture the four kings and Artaxe. But, what the newcomers didn't know was Artaxe had a son, that had the same powers Artaxe has also. One of the kings, of the Fire element, is thinking that there's someone new stealing their mares and is responsible for taking Artaxe, but nobody will believe him, and they think that he's just trying to cover up for him taking Artaxe. The land is at war, and all hell just broke loose. The newcomers are eventually going to reveal themselves, but for now, they remain the mysterious horses lurking in the shadows and snatching up helpless mares. Do they have Artaxe? Nobody will know, for a long time anyway. Can they be stopped? That's another question that shall go unanswered, but it's up to you to decide. Where will you fit in?
