Thunder
Name:
Dooloomai
Species:
Horse (Brumby)
Gender:
Stallion
Age:
Three Years of Age
Appearance:
Dooloomai is a handsome grulla paint stallion. He is well built and is roughly 16 hands tall. The stallion has long, well built legs that allow him to run for long distances, though he is not as good at quick sprints as smaller, more compact brumbies. His barrel is thick, showing off a small number of scars over his blotted coat, yet none of them are terrible, Dooloomai is too young to have experienced many fights. He has a long neck, to match the rest of his tall stature, but it is thick and well built, as though he is a mix between the lean thoroughbred and a bulky draft horse. The stallion has gentle bronze eyes, which are surrounded by black skin, making him look as though he is wearing eyeliner. Doolomai has a fairly thin coat compared to other brumbies; it glistens beautifully in the sunlight but does not keep him as warm as it probably should. Overall the stallion’s big body has just finished developing, while he is handsome, he is still learning to use his size to the best of his ability, making him a bit clumsy, at least while he is young.
Personality:
Dooloomai is a very laid back stallion, he does not draw too much attention to himself, but he is a powerful equine none-the-less, as he only relies on himself. Wandering the Australian outback has taught him to keep alert at all times, and though he truly does want a herd he fears that making them safe would be a feat he may not be able to manage. Dooloomai believes in fate, and does not really take time to look for a mare, he figures if it is meant to be it will happen, his somewhat shy personality contributes greatly to this. Some believe that he is stand offish and thinks he is too good for the other equines, but in truth he does not know how to approach others well. When others speak to him Dooloomai is very friendly, but that first step seems almost impossible to him. When the stallion feels as though he is being threatened, or he sees something he wants desperately, he will do anything to protect himself or win what he wants, yet this occurrence is quite rare. In general he is a bit shy but honestly does mean well, a good heart protects him from harming others if he can help it.
History:
Born to a small herd of two or three horses, Dooloomai always knew a loving home from the very beginning. His mother, father, and the other mare in the herd looked after him carefully and gave him as much love as he needed. The other mare had just recently had a colt of her own at the time of Dooloomai’s birth, and the two young colts played together through childhood; they were the best of friends. At the age of one and a half both of the colts parted ways with their herd and left to be on their own, as all young stallions have to do. Dooloomai and his friend stayed together until the other stallion found a mate, and they were forced to part ways. Now wandering alone Dooloomai experiences the hardships of any young stallion, and the fun of being a bachelor as well.

Extra Comments:
Hi there, I am Dooloomai, I figured I would introduce myself to everyone, as I am new here. I am eighteen years old and am currently a freshman in college, I am on my school’s riding team as a hunter jumper, and compete in the school’s off season as well with the horse I lease Val. I am a Pre-veterinary major, but may be switching to major in a human studies field. I have been role playing for about six years, and have been a horse lover for far longer, so I know a lot about the horse world (but nothing about brumbies, sorry). I would be more than willing to help with anything possible, except graphics, I’m terrible at making graphics. Beautiful site and I look forward to becoming a part of Kossy!
