Name: Koora, meaning 'The Day'
Species: Brumby, a fabled 'Sun Stallion'
Gender: Male, stallion.
Age: 4
Appearance: Karee is a fabled Sun Stallion, or a silver bay. His coat is a rich, light brown colour that is verging on the edge of being chestnut whereas his mane and tail, instead of being the usual black, are very light gold almost silver in colour. Basically he's like a moon filly except a lot lighter in colour. Silver also replaces the black stockings and points.

Apart from being slightly long in the back, Koora is conformationally sound. He is well built, mainly for endurance over long distances.

Personality: Cocky, fearless and brash. Koora thinks he's invincible as he comes from a place where, when he fought, he usually beat his siblings, most of whom were younger than him. He is also very cocky and bigheaded because from early on in life he was placed high on a pedastall because of his colouring. This reveering has made Koora think he's the sexiest damn stallion the world has ever seen and he won't hesitatie in voicing his distaste for other stallions' looks.

Also very loud, Koora doesn't think about what he says and has a bad habit of voicing his thoughts, both good and bad. He voices all his opinions, not caring who they're voiced to. One of said opinions is that, being a Sun Stallion, he is entitled to whatever Moon Filly crosses his path, after all he is one of their keepers. And to him it doesn't matter whether they're claimed or not. Although Koora would never admit it, he's a coward and a thief. He steals the mares he wants if they're claimed, shuddering at the very idea of fighting a fight that has a good chance of him losing. Is only interested in rare coloured mares, will only grudingly take a filly of common colour.

He's basically a male version of Brael.

Unlike his travelling companion, Balun the nightrunner, Koora is filled with boundless energy when the sky is clear and the sun high. When the sun is at its peak is when Koora is also at his. He is tied to the sun like the moon fillies to, well, the moon. But when it is cloudy, raining or night Koora gets lethargic and turns extremely lazy. He is weaker when the sun is gone and easier for another stallion to beat.

History: Born in the secret valley of the Moon Fillies and their keepers, the Sun Stallions, Koora himself was blessed with the silver bay of the sun stallions. The colouring he had from birth meant he was destined to become a keeper of the valley. At first he had no idea there was a world outside the valley, not until rumours spread when Koora was a foal that two fillies had left. Where had they gone?

From then on Koora's curiousity about the outside world grew. When he reached the age of three he finally decided to leave his life of safety and recluse to see the world. Stupidly he left without saying a word to anyone, making himself look like a runaway. Once he reached the Kosciusko region he met a real runaway by the name of Balun. Balun was a half-nightrunner looking to escape his mysterious brethren. Koora sypathised with the strange looking horse, telling him a half-lie that he had also escaped a mysterious and isolated group of horses. The truth was, Koora had simply wandered away.

Now he wanders around with Balun, not really knowing what the hell he's doing but he does know he wants to start a herd and some some moonfillies. The two stallions are the polar opposites of each other which has made their travels interesting so far. One can only stand the night, the other the day.
