As soon as Alison was out of the corral, Jason shut the gate underneath the trailing rope. Holding onto it - the corral wasn't big enough for the creamy to pull it out of his hand - Jason jogged around the outside of the corral and opened the door from to corral into the force pen, a small trap that would keep the animal still when Jason removed the ropes. Gesturing for Alison to dismount and come over, he handed her the whip. He now had the end of each of the trailing ropes, and tied two to Marie's saddle again and kept hold of the other two.
"Get to the other side, persuade him this way, Marie and I will do the rest." He winked, and waited for Alison to get to the other side of the corral before signalling Marie to pull the creamy into the trap.

Alison dismounted Jesse quickly, and left her without being tied. Jesse shook her head, and walked to stand by the gate, in case the horse tried to make a run for it. Or more properly named, a smash for it. Her rider clutched the whip tightly, and jogged around the fence to the other side of the pen. She couldn't resist giving the whip a bit of a crack, to frighten the horse in. He deserved it, after all that trouble. Not a whip to his pelt, but a harmless snap in the dust.

Damon jumped about 2 meters in the air at the sound of the crack. Holy sh-... OW! Apparently these idiots didn't fully grasp just how painful a sound like that was to a horses delicate ears. Was this crazy woman deaf or something?! Oh right, she couldn't hear as well as a horse could, that would explain it. Whoever invented that whip needed to be shot.
In an attempt at retaliation he gave her a mock charge, ears and lips back, just to give her a little jolt. One ton of charging angry horse wasn't something most people would just stand there for. He veered away at the last second then allowed himself to be herded into the pathetically small little pen, hoping his point was proved.

With Marie straining on the rope to keep the horse in, Jason rushed to close the gate behind the creamy, trapping him in he small yard. The monstrous animal would be barely able to move. It was built for brumbies, not whatever he was. Whistling to Marie, the bay stock-horse jogged over. Jason untied the rope, and double checked the creamy wouldn't be able to stand on any of the trailing ends.
Sighing, Jason approached the fence at the horse's flank. He definitely didn't want to get a bite from this fellow. Taking care to stay in his line of sight, it was time to play nice. "Woah there, good boy, steeeady." He stepped up on the bench that followed the side of the trap so he could reach over. To appear bigger than him wasn't the best of situations, but he had no choice. Reaching over, he attempted to pet the animal's withers, to gently scratch and sooth and gain a little trust before he attempted to remove the ropes around his neck.

Alison was a bit grumpy from the male horse attempting to gain dominance over the human female, and lead Jesse a safe distance from the horse. She stroked her bay mare, and Jesse grazed on the little grass that was growing about the hut. The mare was hungry and thirsty, for they had traveled a long way to get to Dead Horse Hut, and they had not rested once apart from when they had seen a certain Creamy stallion tied to two trees by two ropes. "What are you going to do with him?" Alison asked, beginning to eat a rather squashed sandwich in her pocket.

Damon thankfully didn't attempt to bite, the worst he did was turn his head around to give Jason the evil eye as though saying 'What are you doing? Get off me!'. He quickly starting to dislike this crush like thing too, this was how you treated cattle!
The squeeze wasn't too bad, but Damon had always had a problem with being up against a wall or any sort of pressure at all so he was quickly becoming fidgety and stamped his hindleg in annoyance, accidentally stepping on the rope.

Jason grumbled. Fine, this wasn't going to be the easy way. Quickly running his hand up the broad neck of his new acquisition, he loosened the slip knots with a easy pull and as fast as he could, brought them up and over the animal's face. Careful not to get too close to biting range, the threw the rope over the fence. Taking hold of the rope the infuriating horse was standing on, he pulled firmly, hoping the stubborn animal would move his gigantic hoof and he could pull the rope out from under the beast.

||OoC|| Tex skipped a post. Your turn Tiggs ^^||
Damon strangely didn't give an ounce of protest or resistance as the ropes came off. After all, this was what he wanted, so he stood surprisingly still then shook his head roughly afterwards. Ah, that was better. For good measure, he threw his head and down a few times too as though to permantly work off the sensation.
He had just finished when he dimly felt something tugging under his foot. More out of discomfort than wanting to be civil, he quickly picked up his foot and moved it to the side a little. Ropes where gone. Nice. Now to be let out of this infernal contraption. Stubbornly, the creamy began to lean heavily against the wooden sides of the holding pen on the side that lead to freedom... and Jason.

"Bah." Jason kicked the free trailing rope out of the way and jogged over to the hut. He returned with an old leather halter, big enough for the draft horses that came to the hut delivering supplies. It should fit the creamy. Grumbling, Jason approached the captured horse warily. He'd rather not try and halter the thing now, but while he was caught, Jason thought it would be easier to do it now that fuss with ropes and slip knots later on.
"Stay still, you idiot." He grumbled at the horse, stepping up on the bench. Reaching an arm over the creamy's neck, he grabbed for the forelock and tried to quickly slip the halter over the brute's noble head. Getting the throat lash closed was going to be problematic.

Damon stopped his fence leaning in favour of watching Jason return with something in his hand. Was was that? Musty old food? Somehow he doubted it. Oh God! Worse! Must worse! Once Damon's eyed fixed on that ratty old halter he knew immediately he didn't want it anywhere near him! Old, a few threads loose and no little silver nametag for the cheek or anything! Gross! It was probabaly mite infested or something!
Damon was surprised enough at having his forelock grabbed to accidentally give Jason the chance to get it over his head, but once the surprise was over he wrenched his head from Jason's grasp and shook his head in horror to try and get it off. Omg! Draft cooties!
