Ooc: Sorry for being away! Bic:
After hearing the return of the king, Valatone started to hurry towards Tingara's location. It had been a while since she had seen him, and now at last. She lifted her white head and whinnied to him, then approuched, pushing through the herd to get to him. Then she nuzzled him, "Where have you been?" she said in a sarcastic, motherly tone.
Cobalt squealed and hurried after his mother. What was all this fuss? Was there another foal? He too pushed around till he got to his father, then let out a surprized whinny and charged at Tingara's flank. He didn't realise that he too had missed the one who looked so much like him.

Crayola nickered to the new mare, reaching out and nudging at her shoulder. "My name is Crayola." She replied, her ears pinned forward as she investigated Tingara's new mare. She was a pretty one, definitely. Tingara had found himself another wonderful mare to add to his herd. Lifting her head, she whinnied for Prisma and Burnum to come over so she could introduce them. She was proud of her colts, and they were growing so well! They would grow up to be fine stallions.

myrrina nickered, nosing the mare's shoulder in return to the gentle greeting. one of the brumby mares called to tingara, and with ears pricked, myrrina raised her head to watch. beside her, crayola whinnied and myrrina wondered if there were yet more brumbies hidden amidst the thick trunks of the snow gums and alpine ash. on the steep incline of granite and stone, a white ghost of a mare stood for a moment, and then clattered down to meet with tingara. a little black colt trotted at her side.
"is that one of tingara's?" myrrina asked, though she could see that it was indeed so. the colt was a throwback to his sire, stamped with that blackness of the darkest winter night. it seemed odd that a foal could take so after his sire. for his dam possessed all the splendor of the snow, paler even than the silver brumbies, of whom the bush still told. and there were these roans to be considered. for it was the way of stallions to be fascinated by mares, to hunt them, to fight for them, and to protect them.

“I’m sorry mother,” Tingara laughed and nuzzled Valatone, “I hope you didn’t miss me too much.” Smiling, he ruffled Cobalt’s forelock and then turned and did the same to Prisma and Burnum. He positively beamed when he saw Myrrina had already made a new friend in Crayola. “How are you and Burnum, Binda?” he gently greeted the blue roan mare and then turned to the two new mares. Tingara radiated happiness at being surrounded by his family. “It is nice to meet you two, my name is Tingara and these are my herd members. Crayola, the appaloosa, and our son Prisma. Myrrina, the medicine hatted one, Binda, the blue roan, and her son Burnum. And finally Valatone and our son Cobalt,” he introduced the mares and foals to the new roans and then realised he had not yet learned their names. “May I ask what you lovely mares’ names are?”
Prisma bounced up to his mother and then to his father's side. He peered curiously out from between Tingara's legs at the three new mares. Being the cocky colt he was he jumped out and decided to introduce himself. "Hi there, I'm Prisma," he whinnied, puffing out his chest in an attempt to show off in front of the adults and his brothers.

Valatone gave Tingara a little nip and wandered over to the new mares and introduced herself. "I'm Valatone and this-" she said, dragging Cobalt away from his father with her nose, "-is Cobalt," she said, proudly showing her foal off in front of the three newcomers. The mare preened at her son's coat, then let him go with a snort of amusement.
Cobalt didn't have time for the new mares. He fed for a while, the explored around this new end of the valley. Around rocks and trees, up small ridges and down into the grass. With a cry of joy he noticed an spiky critter shuffiling about in the dust. He'd almost met all the creatures, but never this strange being. He gave it a little kick and snorted, looking at his spicked ankle. The echidna then began to burrow, furiously leaving the surface and becoming a prickly rock.

"Nice to meet you all!" said Kala, positively beaming with excitement at meeting these new horses. "My name is Kala, which means "fire","she replied to Tingara, "And this is my half-sister Jannali, her name means "moon" ".
Jannali couldn't help but sigh slightly under her breath at Kala's extremely enthousiastic greeting. And it would have been nice to have been able to introduce herself. But oh well, Kala only meant well, and Jannali knew the other mare was often foolish in social situations, she was quite thankful that the red roan hadn't already told them all about their quest to find the silver stallion. Because Kala had already introducd her, Jannali had to be content with only a respectful nod, and "Nice to meet you" to the other horses.
