Appearance: A light chestnut mare (almost gold) with no markings apart from a blaze running down her fine head. She is lightly built and very fast. In the sun, her chestnut hide glows a bright golden. She is quite attractive.
Personality: Cheyenne is a sweet, brave mare who enjoys the company of absolutely anyone, brumby or another critter, she is friends with them all. She can be quite playful when in the mood.
History: After leaving her mother, Cheyenne went alone to travel the high mountains. She has seen no brumby there until she comes down to Lake Cootapatamba to look for a mate after a couple of years of being alone.

Appearance: Although she is unusually small for a brumby, she is very fast. Her coat is as black as night with absolutely no markings at all. She is very strong and stocky with short legs and a thick neck even though she is quite pretty.
Personality: A little shy sometimes but can be brave when she wants to. She enjoys playing and running around, in company and alone. Arana loves to explore and is always looking out for adventure.
History: Has not long left her mother from another place not far from Kosciusko. Travelled towards Yarraman's Valley to look for a mate.

Species: Kangaroo
Appearance: Tamaska is a large, male, light grey kangaroo with no markings anywhere. He has large ears, small fine face and a black twitchy nose.
Personality: He is a wise kangaroo with many friends although none of them are of his own kind. He knows every inch of every country where he has roamed alone for many years. He is kind to everyone he meets and never gets himself or anyone into trouble.
History: Tamaska travels alone but has many brumby friends. He left his mother to explore the high country as soon as he could because he loved to learn new things and decided to teach himself and others around him of what he knows.
