STALLIONS
Name: Iuk, meaning 'eel'
Species: Brumby
Gender: Male
Age: Three years
Appearance: Iuk is very thin and unhealthy looking, with a thin, hollow face and legs like splinters. He looks very much like a nightrunner stallion, with a coat that is often dirty or scratched and with the raw red look around his nose and eyes. His hooves are small and neat to match his spindly legs. Iuk looks underfed and uncared for - as well as looking insane. His eyes are a pale, ice blue, and are often bright with sickness. Iuks mane is long and ragged, as well as his tail.
Personality: Iuk is insane. He believes he is a nightrunner, though can come out during the daytime hours. He fears kangaroos and black cockatoos, but likes to follow around snakes and lizards. Other stallions do not scare him, and he often will abuse them verbally with words that do not make sense to anyone but himself. No mare seems to appeal to him, but for the twins Euroa and Ingoola. He has an obsession with the two, but tells nobody...for he has no company but his own. He usually comes out only at night, though will occasionally venture out during the day. Despite his madness and ugliness, he has a strange allure to mares.
Iuk will fight anyone, and often has surges of strength that would seem impossible for someone of his size and stature. He will insult anyone, mare or stallion, young or old. Iuk often jibbers to himself, whether it be nonsense or a serious issue. He refers to himself in the third person, and in some occasions will constantly giggle. His madness makes others avoid him, and he does not try to seek out company, but will steal mares for the fun of it, though they do not stay with him for long.

Name: Bokara - heat
Species: Brumby
Gender: Male
Age: 5 years
Appearance: Bokara has always been frail, a weedy little thing when born and now, at three years, still delicate. Despite this obvious lack of strength, Bokara has grown into his limbs and is a very graceful young stallion. His muscles are long and lean, matching his body shape - tall and long limbed. His coat is a deep bay, generally smooth - much to his dislike. He wants more pelt to make him seem larger. His mane and tail are black, and at an abnormally long length for a wild horse. Not to say that they are extraodinarily long, for they arent. His hooves are small and neat, often useful when he is trying to escape up rocky precipes, but not very useful in battle. His eyes are large and liquid mahogany, surrounded by a thicket of long lashes.
Personality: Bokara is very quiet and museful - often picked on for his silence. His brain is always working, ticking over every subject. His heart would be easily broken, though he has no mares yet - so it has not had the chance to experience that. He's more of a lover than a fighter, but understands that fighting for possession of mares and land is part of the system in the wild. He is a very curious young stallion, often searching out mysterious things and trying to figure them out. In his heart, he is still not mature enough to have more than two or three mares - the responsibility would kill his spirit.
He does not avidly seek out mares, though they do interest him, but will see a filly and want her..he's never challenged for a filly though, and is frightened to do so. He is an agile creature, but has not yet had much experience in fighting because he prefers solitude to large groups of horses. He does not have a very high self esteem, and is shy for that matter. He would believe that mares would prefer their stallion over him - as is often the case.
In the human world, he would be seen as the artsy type of fellow who dresses different and enjoys the strange things in life. Bokara was named for heat by his mother, after the heat of the day he was born into - despite this, Bokara dislikes heat, prefering the cool days of Autumn and Winter.

MARES
Name: Alkira - Sky
Species: Brumby
Gender: female
Age: 5 years
Appearance: Unlike most bush brumbies, Alkira is delicate and petite, not rugged and heavy set. This is both an advantage and a disadvantage. It sets her apart from the other brumbies, which gets her noticed by too many eyes - man and horse alike. Her coat is a pretty shade of dappled light grey, it grows unbelievably shaggy in the winter months to keep her small body warm. Her mane and tail are a lighter shade of grey, fading to white at the ends. Alkira's cheekbones are very prominant, and her facial expressions are very expressive - helped along by her eyes, which are abnormally large. They are a rare sapphire blue, strange for a bush brumby, and again, not helpful when she tries to go by unnoticed. She's a very strange individual in the Australian brumby world, and has been picked on by other mares for her appearance.
Personality: Despite standing out from the crowd appearance -wise, Alkira would rather just settle down with a caring stallion and live a life of love and happiness. She doesnt understand the want stallions have for her - and shies away from them if they try to sweet talk her. Fights have, of course, occured when she tries to settle in one herd which she doesnt like. Alkira hates feeling like a prize to be won, and would rather hide away from company. Her ideal partner would be a stallion with only a few mares, to care for her.
Alkira has a love of foals unmatched by most mares - she wants a little one with all her heart. Unfortunately, she has never had the chance to settle down long enough to have one. Of course, she is only three - but to her, age is no issue when it comes to foals. Alkira is shy, and easily frightened. Humans intruige her, and she often wonders what it would be like to be cared for by one, but she is so horrified by the thought of being roped and controlled that she scattered at the slightest hint that one might be coming her way.
Alkira could be matched with the description of a rabbit caught in headlights - she doesnt know what to do, her heart pounds at a million miles an hour and she could be destroyed in seconds.

Name: Ekala
Species: Brumby
Gender: Female
Age: 8 years
Appearance: Eklala is a true bush brumby, her frame is a no-nonsense build. Heavily set and ready for anything mother earth can throw at her - snow, hail, wind, fire, you name it! She's seen six winters and is as rough as the earth itself. Her coat is a dull blue roan, pretty and blemished only with a few scattered scars - as every brumby must have after living for six years in the bush. Her eyes are a deep chocolate brown, and very expressive. Ekala's mane and tail are dark grey, matching faded patches on her nose and tips of ears.
Personality: Ekala is a playful but down to earth creature. She knows the way of the bush, and is ready to take on whatever it serves. She has been with a few stallions, all losing to the next one that wanted her, but she doesnt mind being alone in the bush. Company is nice - but she also likes to be alone, to hear the sound of her own thoughts and the sounds of the bush. She loves the bush creatures - especially the grey kangaroo's, and always stops to chat with them.
Ekala will soon cut down any stallion who thinks too much of himself, her tongue and wit are razor sharp and sarcasm is in her voice all too often. Despite this, she is very capable of loving others.

Name: Kinta "Laughter"
Species: Brumby
Gender: Female
Age: 0
Appearance: Slender and delicate like her mother, Kinta has inherited her sires strange colouring, though received a lighter tone. Her body is well proportioned, with a slightly longer, thinner look to her than usual. With deep brown eyes, wide and expressive like her mothers, framed with thick brown lashes. Her mane and tail are darker than the rest of her, being a smoky grey. Her coat is a grulla overo.
Personality: Somehow, Kinta has gotten away with being very different to her mother. Instead of being nervous and quiet, Kinta has a very bright, curious nature. She can often be found searching out new, interesting things. She won't stand back and allow her opinion to be overlooked, and can be a little too vocal when it comes to things. She isnt particularily interested in love, rather thinks she will enjoy life as it occurs - instead of looking to the future.
Herd: Sires herd - Wirinun
Genes: Ee/aa/Dd/SBsb/Oo
Extra Comments: Daughter of Wirinun and Alkira.
