Appearance: Talgan is a stocky stallion, with reasonably long legs and weight bearing shoulders, it's clear in his build that he takes more after the stock horse in his mother than the arab in both his parents and will be a great pillar of strength at his prime. His face is strong and his legs well set, muscle obvious on rump, in shoulder, leg and neck. He'll mature to be a rich chestnut stallion of equal proportions.
Plenty of room for his chest and wide-set hooves means space for bigs lungs and the power to go long-distance easily. With a roman nose and broad forehead, his features are noble and strong, hooves unusually wide and good for rocky terrain. Not as bright a chestnut as Arrellah, but certainly a rival in looks, his coat has the cheery bay under-tone that hints towards the black genes of his father, and shows also in slightly richer bay and liver mane. Unlike any of his parents, Talgan bears two perfect white half-stockings on his hind legs, muzzle a slightly darker hue as are his lips.
Personality:
A cheeky young colt with endless supplies of energy, he seems to constantly make a nuisance of himself to his mother and a plays the roles of gentle gaint to the younger foals. Kind and surprisingly mature for his young age, Talgan show much prospect in himself, but lacks the self-belief his mother makes up for; although she was wishing for a handsome bay, she is happy to have Talgan as long as he takes pride in his appearance.
Not as happy-go-lucky as his mother, and certainly not as fretful as his father, this young colt is making his own way in the world, one baby step at a time, without the constant showy business Arrellah fusses with, and without seeking needless attention.
