Appearance: Piringa grew up from a leggy black foal into a fine looking stallion, his sire’s heritage shining though strongly in the dish of his face and the arch of his neck. Appearing far more refined in his features than many of the other brumbies, Piringa is a handsome horse and he knows it. He is no hunk of muscle, instead being lithe and swift, built for speed and agility. His pale coat is dotted with flecks of black hair, having greyed out to nearly all white very early.
Personality: Proud. Proud and stubborn. He inherited these from both his mother and father, as well as a slightly inflated ego - though certainly not as inflated as it could be. He is a bit of a dreamer at times, wishing for nothing more than to go running through the mountains calling his name. He is kind though he may not have the most sense in his head, and is protective of all those under his care. Piringa is definitely a ‘ladies man’, where he would gladly go chasing a beautiful before considering that her father might give him a mighty beating for trying.
History: His mother was a known lover of the high mountains, loving to explore the Ramshead and its ranges. It is a trait she instilled in her son, who spent much of his young life never wandering south of the Cascades. As a result, he has seen little of man and his life has gone on as any young stallions should: untroubled and not a care in the world save for the need to collect a band of mares to call his own.
