Appearance: Sooty buckskin; 15.1hh; stocky build - more stamina, less speed; honey-brown eyes; long, unruly mane and tail; a few nicks and scars around her body, nothing severe.
Personality: Haiku is quite solitary for a herd-bound animal, more at ease when alone than in company. She is very intelligent and observant, usually quick to pick a lie and swift to determine the true nature of others. She is generally very tolerant and patient.
History: Haiku has not had a very spectacular life: her dam was a first-time mother and had issues accepting her foal. When she was relaxed enough she would allow the youngster to feed, but if she was the slightest bit stressed or agitated, she would chase Haiku away. It may be due to this lack of bonding as a foal that Haiku has never been able to maintain any close friendships or relationships with other horses - or it may just be her nature, who knows. She has yo-yo'd back and forth between herds, many stallions allowing her to slip away (as she tends to do) without complaint after finding her impersonal and solitary nature too hard to deal with.
