Name: Baan - meaning "water"... or alternatively "dog"

Appearance:
Born a scrubby brown colour, Baan has lightened a little over the last year. The slight roaning in her coat gives her rump and sides a lighter shade during the summer months, and her face is starting to show signs of greying out. She'll gradually lighten in coat until she is an almost solid white but for her knees and parts of her mane and tail. Eventually these will grey out too.
Her build is a little downward, and she's filling out into a round filly, and she'll likely be an even wider mare. Her shaggy winter coat won't help her physique, and neither will her lazy disposition.
Personality: Lazy, snide and stupid, Baan would turn out to be a useless herd mare if not for her unbelievably flirty attitude toward males. Regardless of age, rank or handsomeness, Baan lavishes attention on the opposite gender with no apparent regard for her own dignity.
History: Born to Jiba under the watchful eye of Piringa, Baan is actually the daughter of Piringa's younger brother Lark. Currently, only her mother knows this. Jiba's respect for Piringa extends only to his ability to defend the herd from various dangers. The fact that Lark was even able to woo her without Piringa noticing is perhaps the only reason she bore Lark a son and not Piringa.
Baan received only the minimal amount of fuss from her mother, but hardly seemed to care. So long as she could suckle, she was content. As soon as she was weaned, she spent the majority of her time eating, playing only on the rare occasion. Now a yearling, she dreams of colts and stallions and not much else (other than food). She roams with her "half-sibling", grazing with her mother when not in search of colts.
