Name: Bilba - ‘Bullrushes’
Species: Brumby
Gender: Filly
Age: 1 Year
Height: 14.2hh
Appearance: Bilba is a short brumby, easily pony sized. Despite this, she is fairly lithe but shows the potential for filling out as she gets older. She’s quite neatly put together, though looks more brumbylike than her father, with most of her Arab heritage showing in her face. She has warm wide set eyes and a friendly look about her. Her face is marked with an unusual stripe and snip, which covers most of her muzzle before breaking off into jagged parts. She has one sock on her front right hoof, with ermine spots. Born a red-brown wild bay, her mane and tail fade to pale tips and are peppered with creamy and grey hairs.
Personality: The first word that comes to mind when describing Bilba is stupid. Though the filly does have some sense in her head, she’s far too much of an airhead to pay attention much or retain anything she’s taught. Sometimes she just forgets to think, and is overall a bit of a ditz. Bilba is a kind soul though, and is quite compassionate to the plights of others. When encouraged by others she can turn nasty however, and is a ‘follower’. She is more than happy to gang up on others if her friends are. Far less of a wanderer than her sire, she will only go if her travel mates do. She hates being alone in fact, and will seek out the company of any and every horse if she is left by herself.
History: Born to Kiata and Piringa, she was quite the energetic filly when she was younger though this trait seems to have deserted her. Content to buck and rear and play, chasing anything that moved she grew up as any foal should, happy and content. Now a yearling, she spends her time with her larger sibling Baal, having adopted her similarly lazy attitude to life.
Genes: Ee/A+a
Extra Comments: Piringa x Kiata: wild bay goodness!
