Appearance: A smooth grulla roan, with exceptionally dark face and legs. The fur under the roan is brown-hued, giving her roan a slightly more strawberry edge except for where the roan leaves a clear black dorsal stripe. Across her shoulders and rump are dark marks in the roan from a series of sparring matches with a certain stallion. Her mane and tail have a little more brown in than most blacks, due to the dun, and the inside of her ears are almost fawn in colour.
Personality: Jiba is no longer the timid and obedient foal she used to be. Now a grown mare, Jiba is a confident mare, sure of her pklace in the world but not content to settle for what she has. It seems she has a bit of a loyalty proplem, in that if she spot an opportunity that might be better for her, she'll take it at the expense of others. She only ever sees the bad in things, she's definitely a glass-half-empty kinda gal.
History: Born into Tingara's herd after her father lost her mother in a battle for Kingship, daughter of Nevada and Jannali. She was a good-natured foal, but somewhere along the line she's become very bitter and jaded, and is convinced that the world is cruel and harsh.

She follows a stallion named Piringa, content in his ability to lead and protect her, meanwhile despising his personality and only grudgingly holding company with his other mares. She's been tempted by other stallions before, but only the bold colt Lark - Piringa's brother - was tempting enough. Despite her refusals, protests and vicious retorts, Lark was persistent. Jiba found the colt exciting, and it was his selfish attitude and pure brute strength that she wanted any foal of hers to inherit.

So unbeknownst to Piringa, she bore his brother a foal and raised her under Piringa's careful eye. She was separated from her stallion during the fire, but has made no overt attempts to find him. Unfortunately she has found herself laden with Kiata, Piringa's other mare and her foal. The small band grazes together, and while Jiba is only interested in finding ther next stallion to protect her, Kiata is adamant it should be Piringa.
