Name: Bokara - heat
Species: Brumby
Gender: Male
Age: 5 years
Appearance: Bokara has always been frail, a weedy little thing when born and now, at three years, still delicate. Despite this obvious lack of strength, Bokara has grown into his limbs and is a very graceful young stallion. His muscles are long and lean, matching his body shape - tall and long limbed. His coat is a deep bay, generally smooth - much to his dislike. He wants more pelt to make him seem larger. His mane and tail are black, and at an abnormally long length for a wild horse. Not to say that they are extraodinarily long, for they arent. His hooves are small and neat, often useful when he is trying to escape up rocky precipes, but not very useful in battle. His eyes are large and liquid mahogany, surrounded by a thicket of long lashes.
Personality: Bokara is very quiet and museful - often picked on for his silence. His brain is always working, ticking over every subject. His heart would be easily broken, though he has no mares yet - so it has not had the chance to experience that. He's more of a lover than a fighter, but understands that fighting for possession of mares and land is part of the system in the wild. He is a very curious young stallion, often searching out mysterious things and trying to figure them out. In his heart, he is still not mature enough to have more than two or three mares - the responsibility would kill his spirit.
He does not avidly seek out mares, though they do interest him, but will see a filly and want her..he's never challenged for a filly though, and is frightened to do so. He is an agile creature, but has not yet had much experience in fighting because he prefers solitude to large groups of horses. He does not have a very high self esteem, and is shy for that matter. He would believe that mares would prefer their stallion over him - as is often the case.
In the human world, he would be seen as the artsy type of fellow who dresses different and enjoys the strange things in life. Bokara was named for heat by his mother, after the heat of the day he was born into - despite this, Bokara dislikes heat, prefering the cool days of Autumn and Winter.
