Appearance: A lovely, dark dapple grey. The dapples are very pronounced against the grey, making for an interesting coat pattern. Epitaph has thick white markings around all her coronets. Due to her mixed heritage, her height is a decent standing of 15.3hh.
Personality: Epitaph is a quiet, reserved mare that rarely speaks unless spoken to. However, when she does speak, you'd best listen! Epitaph is a smart horse who knows the tricks of the mountains well, despite her past. She is sneaky and cunning - she just doesn't like to show it, and in a way, that is the most dangerous thing of all.
History: Originally born by Crackenback River, Epitaph was the product of a mare who'd made it loose from a stud farm nearly fifty miles away. The mare gave birth and soon died afterwards from natural causes, Epitaph being adopted by a small herd. She left when she was two and traveled mindlessly across the terrain. The grey mare was captured and broken, used as a horse to take tourists on trail rides for a year until she bucked off her rider and escaped. Since then, life has been relatively uneventful for the mare.
