Name: Kooruna - ‘Rain’
Species: Brumby (Half Nightrunner x Silver Brumby)

Appearance: Kooruna has a medium to slim build, with an average to slightly above average height. She is quite muscular and athletic looking, with sturdy strong legs and a nice topline. Her tail is quite high set, and though her mane and tail are quite long they are scraggly and wavy. Her coat has a metallic sheen, and is a mix of diluted chocolate tones, with fleshy pink skin around her nose eyes and belly. She has a diamond extended star and a coronet on her back left leg.
Personality: Kooruna is quite a cheerful filly with a bright outlook on life. She takes everything as it comes, and is quite adaptable to any situation. She has a caring nature and will happily take on a mother hen roll if required. She is sensible and practical, but on occasion does like to throw caution to the wind and have a good romp just for fun.
History: Born in the pale King’s herd, she spent much of her childhood in bliss - unbothered by stallion or man and free to grow beside her siblings. She and her half sister Kalili left the herd with a young colt when they were yearlings, however were separated from him during the bushfire. Kooruna saved the pair by leading them into a deep creek and led herself and her sister to safety after this. They travel together with Kooruna leading and Kalili cautiously following, quiet as a mouse.
