Personality: Briseida is generally soft-spoken, serene, and polite. Most would call her introverted. She doesn't seek the attention of others, but instead, retreats into herself, leaving much of her thoughts up to the imaginations of others. She is calm, soft, thoughtful, and some might even call her mysterious, but this is only because of what little she shares about herself. A gentle mare, she is very fond of company.
She's sweet, but passionate and extremely strong-willed, unafraid to follow her heart and feelings. A survivor, and a lover. Briseida often falls in love too fast and falls too hard. Everyone she knows leaves her in the end, but she still has hope for a perfect ending. She's the motherly type, shy, and rather a social girl when the time is right. She warms up to others fairly quickly and trusts newcomers when she shouldn't. She is willing to sacrifice herself, her well-being, and anything else to make sure her loved ones are being cared for. She's beautiful in a very sincere and heartwarming way; she makes you feel loved and like you belong, although many find it hard to understand her.
She is greatly compassionate and would never wish harm to anyone, though she is very hot-headed and will not take no for an answer. She has always wished to pursue her own path, and she has never really taken into account the feelings or wishes of her family when following her own path and ideals.
However, there are more sides to this mare than just one. Briseida is proud, obstinate and opinionated. Once upon a time, she was submissive as well as quiet, but as she aged she gained the courage to stand up for herself. She won't accept anything less than respect from others, and is always quick to meet a challenge. She deflects any insults and anger directed towards her without really taking it in, and so is never really hurt by the thoughts or words of others. There is fierceness to her that will sometimes surface and surprise them all.
