Name: Skunktail Species: Equus ferus caballus (Thoroughbred) Gender: Mare Age: 8 Appearance: Skunktail is a fairly typical Thoroughbred in terms of build: a well-chiseled head on a long, well turned-over neck, high withers, a deep chest, a short back, and mile-long legs. Her coat is a rich shade of dark mahogany brown. The color darkens to black on the sides of her neck, her back, and her sides. Her rabicano gene has sprinkled white hairs all over her sides, the white being concentrated most heavily on her flanks. Her mane is purest black while her tail is white from the base to about a quarter down. Her face is marked with a blaze, while all four of her legs are white from knee to hoof. Skunktail stands at a grand total of 16 hh. Personality: Skunktail loves the thrill of the chase as much as any predator would, even if she does not partake of the kill. Keep in mind, boys, that she likes chasing in the literal sense - she's not going to try and woo you away from your mares! She will chase anything and everything, from little beasties like cats, rabbits, and frogs to larger animals like cattle. This habit predictably lands her in some pretty tight situations. Strangely enough, though, she has managed to get out of all of them without so much as a scratch; Skunk seems to be a very lucky mare. When the saddle isn't on her back, she is a very playful, energetic horse. It is hard for her to sit still when there is a like-minded animal around, though she is perfectly fine otherwise. When guided by a human hand, this oddly colored mare is as well behaved as a nun. History: Skunktail was born in the United Kingdom, the product of a pair of prime hunters on a lord's estate. Her unusual coat gave her notoriety among her master's circle even before it was discovered that she had inherited her parents' skill. The lord's plan was to use Skunktail as a backup hunter for a few years before putting her out to pasture as a broodmare. He rode her when her mother was pregnant or injured and often loaned her to visitors who had been unable to bring or were not fortunate enough to own their own horses. She spent most of her eight years in England, leaping over streams and hedges with all of the grace of a gazelle and racing alongside the pack in pursuit of whatever unfortunate beast had caught their master's fancy. Skunktail did not feel much regret when her humans decided it was time for her to become a mother - she had created enough good memories to entertain herself and her foals for many, many years.
Unfortunately, her days of broodmaredom never came. The extravagant lifestyle that her owner enjoyed was catching up to him. His opulent household cost more to run than he could afford, and had been that way for quite some time. His debtors had finally decided that enough was enough and were forcing him to sell everything he had to pay them. Skunktail was sold to a young man named Arthur Doherty. Arthur, unlike her previous master, was a rather well-off man that chose to live rather poorly. He did not waste his money on fine clothes or exotic foods, instead choosing cheaper, more affordable alternatives. The money he saved went right into his horses. He planned to go to Australia with his brother, Thomas, and Thomas' family, and wished to bring along a horse or two for riding and another or two for the plowing of fields and clearing of trees and brush.
Everything went great. They all arrived in one piece; the ship did not wreck, no one fell overboard, no one got sick, and no one died. They settled into their homes without a hitch. While Thomas was busy farming, Arthur set about building a breeding program. He was not interested in purity, as Skunktail's old master was, but how useful a horse was. He decided to take Skunk out into the High Country to check out Brumbies, having heard of their heartiness and strength as well as beautiful coloring. Genes: Sooty Bay Rabicano (Ee/Aa/RBrb/STYsty) Extra Comments: Will be rp'ed out as tame in her first post, with a stallion coming to steal her.

Hey there Yera! I think she's almost ready to go, just a few little things that need clearing up. Is she a wild horse? You don't mention in her history how she might have escaped if she is. You also mention in her personality that she chases deer, however assuming she is indeed wild you may wish to change this as Australia does not have any deer (though she did chase them in her past).
