Appearance: Smoky black, a rich chocolatey brown all over, with a sprinkling of white over his rump. He has a lopsided blaze that comes down to cover his whole nose, and he had one rear-right half-stocking. To look at him, you'd think he was a mare. His build is light and not very bulky at all. Most brumbies make the mistake of thinking he is a young mare when they first meet him, and he's not quick to correct them.
Personality: Wary, reclusive, and exceptionally feminine, Tinar acts more like a shy filly than a stallion of his age. He's very kind, and always ready to be a shoulder to cry on. He'd do anything for family and friends - except perhaps take on a stallion. Tinar seems to lack the drive to collect mares, preferring to chat and gossip with them rather than fight over them.
History: Born to Tingara and Crayola, his mother actually thought him a filly for the first few hours of his life, thus his name. Tinar got on very well with all his sisters, enjoying their games in favour of mock battles with his brother. He was a good babysitter for his mother and other mares of the herd, and he could often be found chaperoning the younger siblings on adventures. He was very close to Uralla in particular, his bay half-sister. They travelled together for a while, but they became separated in the fire. Currently Tinar roams with his younger full-brother Uwan, trying in vain to keep him out of trouble.
