Name: Narahdarn, Bat
Species: Horse, Brumby
Gender: Filly
Age: 2
Appearance: Beginning to grow into her body, she still is lanky and looks disproportionate. He bone growth has shot up, while her muscle and fat hasn't been put on. Her ribs do show, because she hasn't put weight on. Her mane flips around to either side of her neck, usually there are three chunks on her left and two on her right. She does look clunky now, because of the lack of meat on her bones. Her neck has all it's muscles though, so her head looks to big for her body. She'll pack on some pounds in a few years, and will look relatively normal. Her coloring, on the other hand, is beautiful. Her head is a light brownish color, and as it travels to her neck, the color darkens to a shade of sunlit darkness. Going through her main body, it returns to the sun bleached mouse color. Her legs and tail area go back to the sunlit dark colors. Her mane and tail are sun bleached black in color. Having four white stockings on her legs that come up to her knees and hocks, she also dons a bright blaze that tapers to a point on her nose. She has a patch of white on her shoulder, turning that part of the mane a milky white. She stands at a height of 14 hands now, but will row to 14.2 hands at around 4

Personality: A very proud filly, she believes nightrunners are the best breed around, even if she is a half blood. She's a lot of talk with no bite, though she will fight if pressured and cornered. She'll usually just try to run away if a horse is being violent. She wants a nightrunner stallion. She looks down on other horses, especially none diluted ones.
History: Her story goes back to her grand-dam. Being one of a few fertile nightrunner, she bred herself to an outside stallion, since many of the fillies they collected were injured in the mad dash in the night. Giving birth to a Golden foal who somehow was able to see in the dark, the herd rejoiced. This filly could prove to be the key to salvation for the nightrunner bloodlines. This mare stayed with the nightrunner herd for her whole life, but yearned to be more than a broodmare to them. During one of her heats, she snuck away and met a dark colored stallion with white markings, and 11 months later, she had a dark colored foal with white markings. Her herd was horrified at this treachory, but tolerated the new filly. Not as good as her mother or siblings, she would stumble in the dark, but somehow managed to keep up with her mother. Her mother named her Narahdarn, after the bat, who flies so swiftly in the night, so that her filly would stay with the herd in their night runs. She loved all the members of this herd, and had dreams of having white foals and staying with this herd her whole life. When she turned two, the lead stallion kicked her out of the herd, because she was slowing them down, and was "un pure" because of the white splashes on her. Wandering around, she found she could go out in the daylight, but liked to stay in the shade because of her up bringing. She travels at all times, searching for another nightrunner herd to take her away from the strangeness of the sun.
