Human Stuff
Name: Anton Forster
Gender: Male
Age: 26
Appearance: Anton is of average height, standing at 5 feet and 9 inches and is a skinny sort of fellow thanks to a life dedicated to reading books and forgetting to eat while doing so. He does have a hint of muscle tone particularly in his legs, lower back and core that is due to years and years of horse riding. On his legs again, they have gone slightly bowed after his years on the back of a horse. On his head, Anton has thick Auburn hair that, unless he wears a cap, looks unruly and messy no matter how much he tries to comb it down. The brows that frame his plain brown eyes are just as thick as the hair that adorns his head. Looks like Andrew Garfield.
Personality: Curious, studious, annoying, questioning, quiet, friendly, realistic, a bit pessimistic, dedicated, educated, ignorant, logical, patient, foolish, artistic, smart, socially inept.
History: Born in Manchester, came to Australia by boat when he was ten and settled in Melbourne. Parents were rich but hard on discipline, especially when it came to schooling. Anton worked hard at school, and then went on to university to study biology where he developed an interest in Australian mammals and so he saddled up his pony and travelled around to study them. Mainly he headed north and on the borders of New South Wales and Victoria in Albury he heard about the Silver Brumby legend.
Curious about the Cascade brumbies and the stories they spawned, he made his way to the Kosciusko range where he followed some of the stockmen up to Dead Horse Gap. He annoys them with his constant questions and ignorance of their ways but he doesn’t mind. All he cares about is learning as much as he can about the wildlife in the mountains, brumbies especially.
Extra Comments: Carries a pencil and sketchpad where ever he goes. If it’s okay, he’d probably stay for a bit into the winter just to see how the brumbies survive it.
Hut Stuff
Hut to Join: Dead Horse Hut
Occupation: Biologist, up in the mountains to study the mountainous animals and the brumbies.
Animal Stuff
Name: Rolly
Gender: Gelding
Age: 18
Species: Horse
Breed: Welsh
Appearance: Rolly isn’t the tallest pony out there, standing at 14Hh but is on par with the brumbies he’s found himself constantly surrounded by during his man’s quest for knowledge. He’s rather rotund from a life of being spoiled with hot mash, oats and fine hay as well as carrots and cubes of sugar from the children he once knew at the various stables he’s been lodged. Rolly is quite a sturdy and sure-footed little horse that can be trusted to keep his rider safe. Age has given him a slight sway in his back and his head is on the larger side.
His coat is a light dapple grey with no remarkable markings.
Personality: Patient, extremely loving, sociable, separation anxiety, piggy, dim, doormat, cheerful, no sense of social boundaries.
History: Like Anton, Rolly was also born overseas and imported to the country as a yearling. The Forster family purchased him from his breeder in England to be the pony of their daughter and Anton’s younger sister. He grew up on the finest grain in the warmest stable. However, once Rolly was five she lost interest in the horse and convinced her parents to give her her older brother’s fine thoroughbred instead. At first Rolly was upset at being tossed aside by the human he loved so dearly but eventually bonded with Anton. His going to university was hard on the pony but once Anton came back he made up for all the time he’d been away by taking Rolly out on a marvellous adventure.
