My one rarity ^-^ (the one rare allowed after the reboot - seen as I didn't create any new ones to start with.)

Name: Sceantra (feather of the eagle.)
Age: 4
Gender: Mare
Appearance: Sceantra's dappling is much darker than the average silver filly. Her hide is of an almost black chocolate shade and her mane a light frothy coffee colour that reaches in surprisingly long dread-lock fashion to beyond the first curve of her shoulder. She is well-built and not particularly lithe - with a well rounded figure and defined head that lend a smooth jaw and framed deep brown gaze. She is easily an admirable mare but is undeniably a shade or two darker than the norm for a filly with descendants of the moon, however this lends to her foreign allure. She has a white snip that is almost lost in the black of her features on the very end of her muzzle. Her voice holds an almost spanish/greek tinge that comes from her heritage in the south although it is only a very slight accent - her tones are rich and deep like a song.
Personality: Wise beyond her years, Sceantra has spent all the years she has been separate from her birth herd in the south, in the shadows of the bush and other creatures. She is quite curious but only within reason and not as wary of man as she should be, she speaks as if far older than she is and wanders parts of the high country not often ventured by other horses. She has a strong maternal instinct and is good with youngsters, perhaps better than with those her own age. To converse with she may seem quite detached but that is just the way her accent changes the fall of her words on others ears. In reality she is a calm, strong and independent figure that does not actively seek a stallion but would like, perhaps, to be wooed by one.
History: Born in the south, Sceantra was a part of the small herd her dam and sire contributed to. Because of their rarity it is often likely that only one filly of the moon and one stallion of the sun will belong to any particular bimble - this was the case for Sceantra's parents, although her father held two or three of the beautifully coloured mares. She was born as any other foal, during the spring when life was abundant and she was lucky enough to have a half-brother to play with - Balaroo. It is not in the nature of a colt to stay with their birth herd, even amoung sun-stallions, so it was that the adventurous Balaroo made off for the North and left his curious sister alone. Sceantra had never had a problem with solitude: when other more normal stallions came searching for beautiful creatures of the night, she would sneak easily away and it was on one such night that Sceantra chose to travel Northwards to avoid her follower, however this cut off her path back to the herd and this particular assailant was unusually good at tracking. So it was that she was forced to travel for an entire night until the lone stallion lost interest. She was far from her home now and had always wondered what lied to the North and what had become of her brother who she was so fond of. So Sceantra set out on her own path, supposing her parents thought her captured by the ugly bay stallion, at the age of 3 she wasn't young to be traveling alone and it never appeared to bother her.
