Name: Pinjarra
Species: Brumby
Gender: Filly
Age: 0 yrs.
Appearance: Pinjarra is a broad, slab-sided filly with strong legs and a kind expression. She should stand at around 15HH when mature, with a wide chest and lovely, sloping shoulder.
She is not a particularly attractive filly. Her back is a trifle too short and she is slightly goose-rumped. Her head while not coarse, has little refinement, and her neck looks too thin for the rest of her body.
A substantial filly, Pinjarra’s legs are well-angled and clean. She has plenty of bone, with good, firm joints and large hooves. The only fault is that she is a titch short in the pasterns.
Out of two blue roan parents, Pinjarra is an almost solid black. The only white markings she has, is a star on her forehead and a small mark on the pastern of her right hind leg.
Personality: Pinjarra is a even natured and cheerful filly. While she was rather shy when Ballook first brought her back to the main mob of mares and foals, Pinjarra is slowly starting to become a little more daring.
The only filly born in her sire’s herd, Pinjarra spends most her time stuck to the side of her two brothers. She enjoys sparring with them, and is often trying to provoke them with sly nips or well-placed kicks.
Her greatest longing is to run in the herd of one of the legendary silver stallions. Yet Pinjarra knows she will never be beautiful enough to belong in such a stallion’s mob. She only hopes that whatever stallion she eventually ends up with, is gentle and perhaps just a little bit handsome.
