Towera wandered through the ruff turf. Keeping to the dark shadows she wandered up and down the hills. Keeping her pace brisk with her head bobbing up and down every footfall. She knew she was seriously lost, but she didn't want to turn around and go back. She needed water and some fresh grass instead of the dead dry stuff she was getting lately. Crickets chirped or more squeaked in complaint as she wandered through a patch of long grass. She knew sooner or later she would have to pick up the pace, instead of wandering around in circles. Lengthening her stride the mare flared her brown nares and held her tail slightly higher. Weaving through the trees and up another small hill, the gravel loosened under her making her slow to a loop instead of a trot. Almost a slow crawl, putting her head down she climbed onto a small outcrop. A small stream of water was running downhill. Towera glided over and drank her fill. Feeling the weight of her travel upon her. Her muscles relaxed as she wandered over to a small patch of grass. Pulling some strands out, trying not to feel to restless with herself. OOC - Sorry its gay.

A golden and brown stallion was proudly striding amongst the trees, showing some Arab in his high-held tail and his graceful jog. His mane and tail fell silkily down his neck and dangled in mid-air, while his nose quivered with tension at the air, full of smells and sounds. He loved to walk amongst the gum trees, hooves crunching gum leaves underhoof and branches combing his mane with their long, spindly fingers. The view was great too, and he contemplated it while chewing on some stray grass strands. Suddenly his body stiffened, as Nowego saw a mare, down lower but still a great view. She was patched with brown and white, and he was immediately attracted to her. The stallion gave a high whinny of greeting, and cantered slowly to meet her, nerves singing with anticipation. Once the stallion was standing next to her, he gave a sort of bow, comedic and random. He then leaped back to all fours, giving a horsey grin. "Greetings, O patched one. Were you once white and rolled in a discontinuous patch of mud?" he asked cheekily, green eyes twinkling.

Towera raised her skull. Laying her ears back protectively for a moment. What did she do to get that? But letting a small chuckle and allowing herself to say "No its a skin disease, spreads through everyone I touch" Quickly she reached over and bite his shoulder lightly. Laughing and shaking her multi-coloured banner. her brown orbs crinkled around the edges. She haddn't really had much horse contact and the first one she met pulled a joke out in the first sentence. Well at least he wasn't daft.... He was an odd colour himself, and he was one to talk? Towera noticed there were plenty of patches around. Well there was before. It was like he had never seen a multi-coloured before. "Not really, I was born this way, rainbow, its better to be different then the same eh?" the mare asked softly, her lyrics ringing slightly with her saprophyte voice it was really difficult to be loud, illustrious... insane. it sounded better by the minute. She grew into a silence. Watching him with curious orbs. The last horse she had talked to disappeared. Maybe started a herd? Who cared? Towera did slightly, he was the first [and only one till now] to come and talked to the strange coloured fae. well lets hope he doesn't run off like the last one.

The golden stallion nickered a heart laugh, and nudged her with his muzzle, a warm and friendly touch. "I say, you're a very smart young lady. Why would any stallion let a filly like you go, even if he was your daddy?" he said in an even cheekier tone, nipping her very gently on one ear. He then tossed his head, and spun in a circle, acting the comedian. First he reared up and spun on his hind legs, then he stood on his front legs and tried to walk. It didn't work for too long, and Nowego fell to the ground, suddenly leaping back to his feet with an exhausted laughing whinny. He winked at her, then began to chase his tail, spinning with his mouth wide open.

Letting go was a good thing she did. She never knew why Coorain left. Maybe something about her scared him off? And it was true about her father. He died before she reached two. So he never really had a say in it. He started circling his tail, making a laugh bubble from her bay skull. He was a character himself. "Same to you, your sent is new is it not?" His odd colouring gave something away. Though Towera herself was not from far, the mountain miles away sheltered her herd and her old family. But now she was a nomad, but she liked it. But she knew she was made for her life, the security of the herd was something she yearned for. "Towera at your service, sir..?" she broke of smiling, waiting for him to answer with his name.

He stopped chasing his tail when she spoke, head spinning and eyes bouncing about for a bit. To steady himself, the stallion rested against a tree trunk, bonking his head a few times to try and knock the stars out of it. Eventually his head clared, and he stood up normally, shaking his head every now and then to try and make more sense of the world. Last time I ever chase my tail... he thought to himself, and grinned at the girl. "Yeah, I guess I'm new. I've more been hanging around the sidelines, checking things out before really becoming part of Kosciusko. I'm Nowego, great to meet you!"

Nowego? What a name! What did it mean? Towera meant fire, folk law around there. Long story. Why would he hang around the sidelines? Nothing interesting inside the borders? What made him travel in this far then? For all Towera knew she could be far east and she wouldn't have a clue. She needed to settle down. Traveling for two long always wore her Patience. Towera's shaggy multicoloured tail draped along the rock floor. Her mane reaching down past her shoulders ran off in layers. Spiking out in different directions, she looked like a savage. Though she giggled a the thought of her being lethal. Well she would be one day. She would challenge someone, win her rights. But now she was getting a head of herself. Blinking she recovered from her trance and answered "you're sweet! Unlike myself I am covered, not really that sweet and then I am sour" Towera chuckled gesturing to her coat. Like someone split chocolate on her sugary coat. Bull.

His name meant Sun, and his parents had named him sun because of his beautiful gold and black coat. It wasn't an extremely rare sight if you managed to see a buckskin around here, but his colour was rare enough that he was going to lie low during the big hunt that the birds had been talking about. Perhaps he should ask this mare to accompany him? The stallion eyed her and snorted, arching his neck in what he thought was an appealing way. It actually looked quite funny, but don't tell him that! "Wanna go hang out? I heard that men have been hanging around lately, and it might be a good idea to avoid them," he asked kindly, nudging her shoulder.
