Name: Rezar
Species: Horse / Australian Stock Horse (3/4) x Brumby (1/4)
Gender: Male / Stallion
Age: 5
Appearance: Rezar is a 15.3hh sooty palomino where the sooty gene decided to behave very oddly, causing the unusual result of a black mane. There are still other signs of the gene on the top of his rump and other places if you look closely.
His major defect is his mouth, you don't have to be very close to see all is not quite well, for it appears much damaged with unsightly scars in a way not seen in wild horses.
Otherwise, he stands taller than the standard brumby, well squared and proportioned with good conformation thanks to a big percentage of stock horse in him.
Personality: An optimist, Rezar is determined to make the best of whatever situation is presented to him and is normally quick to forgive old grudges. Rather passive for a stallion, he avoids fights wherever possible, but he's still capable of throwing his weight whever its required of him.
History: Rezar was born wild to an ex-tame sooty buckskin stock horse and a stock horse cross mare. They lived on the Suggan Buggan range, and Rezar thought himself pretty unique and was quite pleased with himself as a colt.
He was captured while young in a brumby drive by an Albanian man, trained easily and lived as a stock horse for over a year until he was ruined in an accident by the mans son. Being no longer able to feel a bit, the old man decided it was kinder to release him than sell him off to a long difficult life that would surely end in the slaughter house.
As his old owner was very well known, most bushmen know of his accident and leave him be.
Genes: ee/Aa/Crcr/Stysty/ff
