Appearance: Allie is a pretty, although not spectacularly beautiful, young girl. Of a slight build, and medium height, she is skinny, has long legs and startling blue eyes framed by dark eyelashes. Her hair is long, and a reddish brown colour, often tied back carelessly into a scruffy pony tail. She has very pale skin, and a sprinkling of freckles across the bridge of her nose. She looks much younger than her age. She virtually never wears any other than jeans, a t-shirt and a dusty brown steston.
Personality: Allie is a very shy, yet stubborn individual. She has her opinions and will stick to them, no matter what. She is much more of an "animal-person" than a "people-person" but doesn't shy away from conversation once she makes friends. With strangers she is a girl of few words, although she can often be heard talking to animals of all sorts. She is a huge animal rights advocate, and believes that no animal is born mean, they were made that way by humans. She is very good at basic veterinary care and interested in holistic medicine. She is a basically sweet person, but has little patience with people (although she is extremely patient with animals) and if you hurt an animal in any way you had better watch out! She can have a fiery temper, is fiercely loyal, and is pretty much the best Secret Keeper you could find.
History: Allie is the oldest of five children. Her family own a tiny farm way off in the middle of nowhere, basically providing for themselves. She has just left home,at the age of nineteen, to make a modest living gentling horses. She has come to Dead Horse hut, not in search of a job, but rather to see if she can stay for a while for the experience and until she finds a job somewhere nearby. She is still close with her family, and has promised to write at least once a month.
Extra Comments: Allie is a strict vegetarian, and loves to read. Every animal she has come in contact with likes her, or at least respects her.
Allie is also very interested in photography, and has made quite a bit of money selling her prints of horses and various other animals. She is currently on a grant by a wild brumby conservationist organization to study the behaviour of the wild horses, and document them through film and video footage (which is also how she can afford to travel with so many animals
) Photography is her main source of income as she usually ends up gentling horses for free when they are in bad situations as she cares more about the horse's own welfare than her wages. She makes enough to provide for herself and her animals though.

Oh boy, don't kill me Tiggs, but Allie kind of has a caravan of horses. Is that alright? There's a reason for it!! She travels with them, she has pretty much two saddle horses, but has brought along some other equines simply because she didn't feel as though she could leave them behind where she's been before, either because they've been mistreated or misunderstood. She carries a long rope (she very much dislikes wire) and pins with her, which she sets up as a corral for the horses when they stop. Although the rope is little more than 3 ft high, the horses never stray from its boundaries and Allie trusts them to stay with her. She figures that if they run off, it's for good reason and they will probably be safer that way than thye would be if they were stuck in a corral.

Appearance: Molly is a regular looking, simple horse. She is around 15hh, quite stocky and built like a typical quarter horse even though she is of Australian stock.
Personality: Molly is a slightly grumpy mare who has little tolerance for anyone but Allie. She seems to have been with Allie longer than anyone can remember, although is reality Allie took her on as a 8 year old with an unpredictable nature who often bucked her riders off. She spent sometime as a horse at a tourist ranch, which is where Allie met her. Her owner was just about ready to send her to auction when Allie offered to work with her. Instead he simply gave him to her, his patience having been worn thin with the mare who had almost cost him his good reputation with tourists. Molly is now a good hard working horse. She is definately the leader of Allie's little group of horses, and is not very sociable with the other horses. She has had one colt, Allie's second cowpony, Bandit.
History: Not much to say, I accidently put it in her personality, sorry!
Extra Comments: Allie's main, and most trusted mount. Allie most often rides her bridle and saddleless as Molly is prefers it that way. She has a very sensitive, sore mouth from her days as a "dude ranch" horse.

Appearance: Bandit is the buckskin son of Molly and a black, wild brumby stallion. He is stocky, but well-built and around 15.2hh.
History: Bandit was the unplanned product of an encounter between Molly and a wild black stallion. He has been with Allie since birth, and as a result is a very trusting, horse, with a supreme nature and willing personality.

Name: Pirate Registered Name: Pirate's Treasure TM (TM being the brand of his previous owner's and also the suffix of his sire's name)

Age: 3 years old
Appearance: Pirate is a young, well bred, leggy bay-pinto colt with a white patch over his right eye. He is quite finely built and a handsome horse.
Personality/History: Pirate is supremely nervous of all humans, very flightly and will let no one but Allie touch him. When he turned two, his rich, yet unknowledgable owners hired a "broncobuster" to make an attempt at "breaking" Pirate the old way. He still bears the mental scars from this rough treatment. He was also traumatized by being caught in the midst of a barnfire and suffered burns which have now healed to dark scars. Allie is working with him to overcome these fears, but feels that he has already been through so much in his young life that she couldn't possibly sell him and will keep him as her own. Pirate has formed quite an attachment to Sunny.
Name: Sunny (previously called "Sunshine" by his formed, spoilt child owner)

Personality: A laid back, stolid, bomb-proof pony with a wicked (as in mischievous) personality and loads of experience dealing with bratty children.
Appearance: a shaggy, grey (but all the way greyed out so white) typically built pony. He is around 12.3hh.
History: Sunny used to be a lesson pony before he was bought by the people who owned Pirate for their spoilt little daughter. She didn't care for him much, and simply wanted to race around on him, often pushing him to near exhaustion. She had very rough hands and often kicked and pulled at his mouth, he truly went through the ringer when ridden by her. However, he often gave her a little taste of her own medecine- frequently dumping her when he'd had a enough. He has the typical pony smarts, and knows all the tricks in the book, and exactly what he can get away with. When Allie came to take Pirate she felt so sorry for the little pony that she asked if she could bring him along. As the daughter was getting less and less interested in riding, the owners agreed, glad to be rid of the troublesome pony. Although Sunny is ancient, he is still going strong and is frisky and cheeky.
Extra Comments: Sunny was formerly "Sunshine" or "My Sunshine" but Allie's thought this was a ridiculous name for a pony. However, he'd been Sunshine for so long, she simply shortened it to Sunny.

Appearance: Looks very much like a full draft, but slightly more refined. He has a huge head, but very gentle eyes.
History: Saved from going the slaughter house by Allie when his owners decided to sell off their small farm and could not find him a home. Allie is now working on teaching him to jump and preform basic dressage.

Appearance: beautiful pearl champagne coloured mare, well built, slightly stocky. Has the typical teal eyes of champagne coloured horses, which are now sightless through abuse and neglect.
History: Abused by her previous owners then left to starve when she wasn't preforming for her previous owners in the showring Penny was found by a tiny horse rescue group. Because she had been continuously whipped in the face and finally lashed across the eyes when her trainer lost patience with her for the last time, when Penny was left she developed serious infections in both her eyes and by the time the rescue group had found her she had turned basically blind in both eyes. Severely damaged both mentally and physically, the rescue group contacted Allie, who was quite a legend for horse whispering in her town, to work with Penny and as she had little chance of adoption and Allie liked her (as she like all animals) Allie decided to take her on as her own horse. She trusts Allie completely and follows the other horses when traveling, and does quite fine even though she is blind, in fact she does so well that people often don't realize she is blind until they see her close up or they are told.
